What's the difference between balance assist and projectile assist?

All characters in marvel have 3 assists even though 2 are the same.

Can anyone tell me the difference whats the difference of the 2 assists that are the same? For example, pick pyslocke and projectile. it does the fireball. pick balance, it does the same fireball.

I checked damage in training … SAME
I checked if its slower or faster … SAME

Explain it to me top players!

BTW, I know the answer, I just want to see if anyone else knows it.

!!!

Different team supers!

Whoop Whoop!

Alpha counter does their anti air.
And has a different team combo than projectile.

I’m not sure you phrased this properly, since it’s not all MvC2 characters that have a redundant assist attack, only a few, AFAIK.

That makes you sound like a douche IMO. What’s the purpose of this thread, baiting wrong answers to troll some flames?

I meant all characters have 3 assists but some characters, 2 are the same

I was gonna share if no one knew. You just sound like you’re mad because you don’t know.

Eh. Thanks for proving my point.

A+ thread

i wanna know :wonder:

The type of attack that comes out for different things changes.

Megaman -
Projectile
assist = 2 hit shot
counter = 2 hit shot
THC = qcf+pp

Balance
assist = 2 hit shot
counter = dp
THC = qcf+pp

Psylocke
Projectile = Psyshot all the way and QCF+PP for the THC
Balance = Psyshot, Psyblade counter, and I think Kiko for the THC

Balance basically takes the two other assists and merges them into one assist type.

winner!!!
