I have no ideal
import a japanese console and a japanese copy of the game
post counts are hidden on this site
thats probably the most expensive way.
I’m looking for answers from people who know any other means that I an not aware of besides importing or magic swap disk? Lemme know
That ^ and Isn’t the PS3 Regional Free?
Play Act Cadenza on your PC, you can play online. If you’re talking about Actress Again, import the game. Also it’s on PS2, not 3.
I’d say get an import system.
@nk4e, the PS3 is just region free for PS3 games(you couldn’t play a japanese PS2 game on an american PS3).
Apparently you can hack a memory card or something.
freeMC boot, paired with ESR boot.
You’ll be playing a backup of your copy, but with the stupid price that AA runs, I would recommend that either way.
The methods for playing backups are not legal or illegal, Sony isn’t going to press charges against you for opening up your PS2 and installing a modchip or a flip-top, or using the Independence exploit to install homebrew on your memory card. Acquiring ISOs is what’s illegal, but you already have that handled so…
Slide tool/Flip-top + Swap disc is the cheapest method, but is rather inconvenient with all the disc swapping.
USBLoader would be the next best option, all you need is a spare flash drive or external hard drive that is large enough for the game (I say spare because you’ll have to format it to use with your PS2 and you won’t be able to use it for anything else without a reformat) and someone with a modded PS2 who can produce the Independence-exploit memory card for you. USBLoader has compatibility issues with some games, look up list.ps2hd and see if Melty will run with no problems first.
There’s also HDLoader, if you have the PS2 Network Adapter and hard drive (or any IDE HDD that is known to work). Same idea as USBLoader, just with an internal hard drive instead (these HDDs are cheaper, but more inconvenient to put new games on since they are IDE and not USB). You still need someone else with a modded PS2 to produce a modded memory card. Obviously this won’t work with slim PS2s.
If you can’t get someone with a modded PS2 to hook you up with an Independence memory card, there’s a company that makes discs that’ll run HDLoader or USBLoader. Look up HDAdvance or USBExtreme.
You can also go way of .elf swapping, and this is the most inexpensive way to do it. All you have to have is a game that has a bootable .elf (netplay) and swap it with FCMB installer. Only things you will need is a ps2 slim, a memory card, a game that enabled netplay and a usb stick. Pretty cheap if you’d ask me and its one of the least intrusive ways to do it.
if you are a girl or a very high-level gay boy then you can probably get free practice time by finding a lonely melty blood player (easy) and enticing him with the continual promise of eventual sexual favours “after [you] get to know each other just a little better”
this is the type of answer Im looking for thank you sooooo much, im going to do some research now.
