I loved that scene soooo much because Riley was acting pretty much like Majin Vegeta.
My favorite lesser known scene was when Grandad and the kids finally caught Tomeaner and he was yelling through the walls random insults; my favorites being:
“You’re all balls and no shaft!”
“You got bad credit Robert!”

Try to make out the quotes you have trouble hearing in the background - a nice touch of realism with a room full of niggas hahah - during Grandad’s date Tomeaner starts mouthing off to his date to escape Robert’s chlamydia among others. It’s funny cuz it sounds like Cedric Yarbough ad-libbed the shit outta that with his “uhhh’s”.
Another one: “You ain’t right, Robert! You check your cholesterol?! You know it’s off!”
S1 and S2 had a lot of background characters resembling other people. Also saw Jin from Samurai Champloo in the Cristal episode. The camera was on him too long not to notice. Also the musical choices throughout the 1st 3 seasons damn . Pretty Boy Flizzy had too much dead air in comparison.
Well Gangstalicious returns tonight, in name, at least. But the context is predictable as all hell.
I’m not even gonna watch this season live until Stinkmeaner IV/Blacking Bad*. Not even worth my torrent download and HD space, I’ll just watch the re-broadcast on Adult Swim’s site tomorrow.

I just marathoned half the 1st season last night and a few eps from S2. It is painfully obvious it ain’t the same. I tried to re-watch Flizzy today and the comedy was too linear/predictable, with too much of a “Tag, you’re it” joke method between characters.

false. i didnt know he left until i started to do my write up of the episode (so after i saw it). i did not follow anything about boondocks for forever until like the day of the new episode. with that said, i would have still shitted on it the same. it wasnt a good episode at all, especially in comparison to episodes like it of the past (usher, rkelly). it did have some funny moments, but so what. if you throw enough shit at the wall, eventually some of it will stick.
One ep down and people already start with the “sell out” comics? Smfh. I wonder who is directing/writing ep2
People think about shit too deeply, i didnt know anything of the boondocks until a few months ago. Marathon watched s1-3, watched the new shows when they came out, couldnt tell s4 from the rest tbh except the animation quirk. People just wanna bitch about shit.
My point still stands. It WAY too early in the season to be bitching, the show ain’t jumped the shark yet (if it ever will)
One bad episode (in your opinion) doesn’t mean the show is doomed.
Like I said, if McGruder kept silent, ya’ll would be praising this episode

For what its worth, I thought Pretty Boy Flizzy was entertaining. Didn’t think it was bad, it made me laugh, and I enjoyed it.
If course if others think differently that’s completely fine, but maybe add more to why you didn’t like it?

Kinda the opposite of Ep 1 for me, started off great and kinda eh at the end.
Still just ok for me atm. Yea I’m starting to see the complaints about the animation now.
Not as hyped for the rest of the episodes, but I think this season still has potential.

Did not find this episode funny. Good times reference got old pretty quick. Not many witty jokes. It just did not do anything for me. It actually felt offensive. I really pray it picks up next week, I still have faith.
