There’s a proper age to stop playing video games? Personally I had never even considered it…I’m probably gonna be like 80 years old teaching my grandkids how to throw a fireball in Street Fighter 7. Yes…it’s going to take that long for capcom to get to that number.
What’s the proper age to stop doing what you love.

considering video games aren’t THAT old, and constantly evolving, it’s kinda hard to say when u should or shouldn’t stop playing. When u get a family going, u obviously have to cut down on ur gaming. But I am turning 30 soon-ish, and i won’t be stopping for awhile.
Not to mention studies have proven that video games are actually beneficial to the elderly.
And lastly, what about OTHER games? Should there be an age limit to how old u can be to play hockey or baseball or soccer?

You don’t have to stop playing games, it’s just that once you’re not in school any more you don’t have time to play as much.
I don’t care when anyone else stops, but I’m stopping when I’m arthritic. Then I’m going back to drinking and fucking younger sluts.

Never. I will stop only once I am dead. Even then, I’m sure the “afterlife”(assuming there is such a thing) would be better if you could play video games over there as well.
Back when I was 15 I made a promise to stop playing video games when I turned 18. My thinking was that by then I would need to focus on “being a man” and put childish things away.
I’m 27 and I have learned 2 things:
- You can’t just STOP gaming if you enjoy it.
- I break promises. :shake:
Play till the very end. No such thing as “too old for gaming”.
My boss still plays games quite regularly and he’s 61. Dude’s been gaming since systems were made out of wood.
my uncle just turned 51 and he’s a MW2 fiend. He’s on it whenever he has free time. And he’s gonna be on DAT MADDEN when it drops too.

Just like any other thing or activity in life, there is no need to quit unless it interferes with important matters/people in your life or hurts you financially.
hahaha seriously…growing up 90% of the people i faced were mid 20’s-early 30’s and thats when i was 13. im fucking 25 now haha.
You never have to stop playing. Im 30 and still play and I’ll still be playing in 30 more years. I hope. Shit a lot of the guys I play sf with are in their 40’s.

I think eventually experience and boredom set it. I barely play WoW, and SSf4 is the first 360 game I have bought since cod4 or GH3, except for an arcade download now and then.
Yet I was practicing MvC2 tonight. I dont know, 99% of the time I would rather watch tv.
