Looking at the trailer again, it seems he has a lot of target combos this time around, pretty sweet. That point in the trailer where he does his usf4 ultra in v-trigger looks pretty similar to Bisonâs v-trigger which allows continuous charges. Canât wait!

I saw at least 3 variations of targets combos. One was quite interesting, itâs was the âdirty bullâ but in target combo form, a dirty trick in boxing is to step on your opponents front leg to stop them from stepping back out of your range to nail them with a hook/uppercut, his target combo is literally just a right hook into the kidney followed by the step onto the toes. I really like that target combo but idk what it will lead into, maybe itâs a low hitting move as well?
Second target combo was VERY similar to Kenâs b.mp > st.hp, his throws a liver shot into an uppercut that sends them flying into a juggle state, will probably be similar to how Kenâs functions as well(I really hope it has enough hitstop to let us hit confirm it) will probably allow you to cancel into v-skill and follow up with a rush punch, maybe if you use EX you can go - EX dash upper - dash straight to extend the combo.
Third looked a little different - was a classic 1,2 into an overhead smash, knocks them back. Very similar to Ryuâs target combo in how it works. Doubt youâll be able to extend that target combo and itâll be used to get confirms from jabs mainly.
Donât think Iâve been more hype for a character. Friday canât get here faster.
It also looks like he has three different level of charge for his v skill. He can also combo off it and do Kenâs stuff (He does a Crush Counter > V Skill > Target in the video).
I think his V trigger could be something like TJ Combo in KI, depending of the button you press after the first dash straight, you have a different juggle.
Iâm looking forward to the character, he was my main in IV and my second character when Decapre dropped, he hit like a truck, has a bionic arm (I know, its his gigaton punch but Combofiend works on SFV), he looks sick and his theme is cool.

Small thing Iâve noticed, idk if itâs intended or not but you can really see the inspiration drawn from Mike Tyson in his normal set in that trailer. The majority of normals we saw were closely knitted volleys of hooks and uppercuts, and the way his body sways when he goes between them in combos genuinely reminds me of how Tyson used to work his way through boxers guards with nothing but sways and feints into brutal offensives when he was in his prime.
This version of boxer looks and plays like boxer should - crazy and brutal. SF4 boxer didnât have the attacking edge I feel he needed and got stale after I picked up Cody in Super. This might just be the game that brings him back to how I personally feel he should play, heavily heavily heavily rushdown focused like a dedicated infighter would be.

Can definitely see the dirty bull target combo being used to close rounds if the second hit hits low.
The second target combo, taking a look again, doesnât seem to launch very high, not really sure about the juggle potential. Could be extended with v-trigger, not sure about the juggle properties of the v-skill though. V-trigger looks like it gives it juggle properties though, at 0:46
His V-trigger might not only allow continuous charges, but give his specials juggle properties too for greater combo potential. Looking really sick so far!
