That voice actor does not fit Zero at all. I’ll be putting on Japanese. Zero is supposed to have a deep man’s voice not a little boy’s voice.
aside from the meme joke zero is, i dont really care for the character unless he gets something slick like an instant overhead.

I dislike Zero with a deep voice. While it matches his personality it’s a doesn’t go with his look at all, IMO. I like this new English voice much better
I’m dumbfounded by the complaints of the haters. Did they expect Zero to have a completely different moveset from TvC? The copy and paste comments are also hilarious. That would mean MvC3 and TvC were build on the same engine.
How does it not go with his look? He’s got long hair and armor. Maybe if it was MMZ Zero (cough Gay) then it would fit but I don’t see anyone casting girly Voice actors for Sephiroth just cause his hair is long or anyone else. His Japanese voice actor is perfect, deep and serious, a no nonsense voice for a no nonsense character. Zero would never be all excited and happy sounding when it comes to anything. JYB is a bad choice period.
its still not the worst VA in the game. Magnus takes that title easily

LOL, yeah, I just noticed. It’s supposed to be a reflection of how long Zero’s “FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR” is in that cutscene.
Some other great voice acting in that game came from the Colonel vs Zero cutscene.

I just can’t envision someone with Zero’s look having a deep voice like how he did in X7. It feels like a disconnect. Having a rather thin, young bishonen loner sounding like gruffy middle aged guy seems out of place to me.
Coolness? Goes a little something like:
Zero = Vent/Aile > Megaman Zero > X = Trigger > Proto > Bass > Megaman (Classic) > Starforce Megaman = Megaman.EXE.
Can’t wait to run Zero. I’m gonna miss Dark Hold, but I can’t wait to play Zero on a actual quality stick, on a good system for fighters, with a Rekkouha that’s actually useful. Sougenmu looks a bit different now too. I wonder if they changed any of the commands for his other specials?
Still wish we had gotten X, but oh well. Maybe DLC.
How can people say he’s a direct copy + paste? I can see a few new things here. For starters, his swallow dive special now follows up with a delayed lightning bolt. His Rekkouha is faster and only hits in front of him instead of full screen. His cloning super imitates normals now (awesome) and he has a completely different lv3. max buster also seems to explode and have a much larger hitbox too.
Eh, I wanted the other Zero. But Capcom have to pander to their mob I suppose.
So he’s got mostly the same moves with very slight buffs. He’s a copy/paste.
When people say copy+paste, they typically mean that most of his attacks look the same. Sure the some details are changed here and there to suit the MvC3 environment, but he’s mostly there. (This includes characters like Ryu and other TvC characters)
Basically the basic character design is still there.

Well, it’s not like they’re completely different characters from one game to the next. A copy+paste would typically be taking the same moves and properties and putting in a new game. Sure, they did do that for the most part, but all the characters that were present in TvC are different enough not to be a copy+paste.
I can arguably say the same for every returning character.

What the defenders against the copy/paste job are forgetting is: TvC was the greatest crime ever committed against fighting games. It changed the button layout, after all, and now fighters are dead forever because of it. Because of this, any returning character who plays remotely similar to their incarnation in that game will continue to be the cancer of the vs. series.
