The thing about Zero, is that practically all of his music, no matter what game he appears in, is awesome. Every single piece of music that features Zero does a really great job of representing not only his character, but the circumstance he is in.
I was just listening to the remix from Maverick Hunter X, and the theme is just so awesome. Does a great job of letting us know that Vile shouldn’t **** with him, that is, until he “kills” him later on.
X2 is interesting in terms of Zero’s music. It was awfully repetitive (thankfully, remixes and the MvC3 theme remedy this), but it was still some damn good battle music between friends (if you didn’t collect Zero’s parts).
X3, while not being my favorite , was definitely my most memorable. I still recall when I first played the game, and I read in the instruction booklet that you could play as Zero at certain times in the game. Then, in the intro level, X gets caught by Mac, and Zero comes bursting through the ceiling. When this music played, I turned my volume all the way up when I was younger.
X4 was definitely my favorite. this piece of music, as well as his gameplay, made him my favorite in the X series. Plus, I actually liked his voice actor during the actual gameplay. The “WHO-HAH-HOOOOOO” and “It’s not over yet” seemed fitting. But then, I heard…
NOOOTHISISN’THAPPENING THEREISNOREASONFORMETOGOONWHAT… WHATAMIFIGHTINGFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Even was pretty awesome.
So many good Zero themes, and only one to choose… I’m actually very pleased with the use of his X2 theme, but maybe wouldn’t have been a bad idea.
