I am insane, but I dont think siesmo is too good as is, really I just want better normal antiair and pokes.
for me is:
-more health
-more invincible frames for seismo would be nice
-EX TK to go through projectiles (if her low tk can a buffed up version shud imo)
-some more priority on normals, coz she trades at best lol
-EX BK to hit grounded oppononets (everyone crouches on wake up = free hit)
-and fix her bk hitbox, here’s a good example, this crap happens to me to often

make fp. TK have a little more priority as an AA(because EVERY trade is not in your favor)
Once you get an Ultra every trade IS in your favor. Unless the opponent has a huge health lead they aren’t necessarily going to just start jumping in on you for free. Giving her TK more priority (which priority is really a bunch of mechanical factors combined into one word) would more than likely make it less likely to trade. The reason why Sagat’s HP uppercut trades all the time is mainly because the properties of the move suck. So it always trades and with the Ultra system always inevitably makes him a better character that can Ultra off of a crappy uppercut.
I think making LP knuckle a little bit better of an anti air would serve a better purpose. It already is pretty solid surprisingly as an AA. Maybe just make the air hit box a bit bigger. That way she can still have her strong ability to trade into Ultra off of her HP knuckle which is a good risk reward for her with her lowered health. Making LP knuckle a better anti air would give her something really solid to AA with that doesn’t neccessarily do insane damage. Making it so you would eventually still have to move in to do damage since if you mistime the LP knuckle the recovery is pretty ass and you usually get blasted. Which IMO would be a good mix.
After that you’ll just have to use your mix of other AA’s like EX seismo from a distance, whiffing c.MK and then throwing when they jump in, far HK, close s.MK, perfectly timed s.HP, vertical jump or jump forward HK etc.

He poked Viper’s back leg before it became active (start-up leg extension frames), but since she was ahead of him slightly, it just looks weird when she resets. Especially since it happens so fast.
And FP.TK trade is ALWAYS in Vipers favor. Free juggle.
The only time HP knuckle trade is not in your favor is when you are low on health. With 20 percent or less health you dont want to HP knuckle trade against Honda’s j.HP or HK unless you have an Ultra. Otherwise you’re just taking hella damage from Honda with no big damage to return it with. HP knuckle juggle after the trade does ass damage and the opponent gets to tech recover off the ground before you can get close enough to them to do anything. If you have no health at all then of course you will die. :lol:
In low health situations where you don’t have an Ultra if you can find anything to do other than trade with HP knuckle it’s a good idea. If you must then…it’s better than dying but it just puts you at greater risk of dying leaving you with zero health.
see now thats not very tactical thinking. I see every trade pre-ultra as BAD, i dont want to trade health with chracters that can kill me in one combo, playing a match of attrition is always a bad idea if you dont have to. Does the trade do more damage for Viper? Sure, maybe but thats not the point, I’m getting closer to having to be really scared about eating random shit. If im playing vs gief and trade like 3 or 4 jump ins, im in range to die now from ultra. Not to mention the whole idea of trading when you obviously read and reacted to the jump in is counter to streetfighter ethos

i just hope they don’t change anything execution-wise. to me half the fun of playing her is in her execution.
i don’t want to see easy mode one button feints or anything like that.
Viper is a unique character and nothing needs to change with her. You all should be proud for playing and winning with the hardest character on the game
she’s not the hardest character on the game, don’t flatter yourself.
There aren’t enough mods to slay all the trolls these days.
Only thing I want changed is to make cls.st.mk useful for what it looks like it should be useful for, and that is stopping crossups above her head. If they just made it so people couldn’t hit the top of her leg that would fix her biggest anti-air problem and one of the most annoying things is watching my kick kick into there bodies just to get hit.
The fix would be to get rid of its hit-able box at around the ankle and to give it way long active frames. Right now that normal is useless, except for this wacky useless corner crossup setup…
make her new ultra involve blasting your enemy with guns.
