Bare in mind though that his jf.mk-ajk would be focusable so after awhile people would know how to counter it so it wouldnt give his offence a huge boost.
And his u2 really does need a damage boost when you land it from fadc it gets really poor damage and nobody falls for wakeup ultra’s anymore do they??
To be honest imo i think adon only needs very small buffs he really shouldnt be nerfed in anyway. But ahwell we all know what happens when a character becomes popular the capnerf happens. Unless of course its a posterchild character aka ryu/ken.
it’d be nice to get the benefits of being ‘in air’ when his focus attack hits since it goes over a lot of low attacks but I don’t see the change happening, kinda like Sakura’s FA and that’s been the same since Vanilla.
These threads are never fun to read. You guys just don’t know the game that well. GamerBee plays Adon and wins major tourneys without any of this stuff, why do you guys think Adon needs anything?
I don’t see whan j.mk being cancellable would add other than a shitty gimmick. You’ll be anti aired all the same and will add some scaling. How would it improve any of his matchups? Now, neutral j.HK…haha yeah. Not gonna happen though.
The real changes capcom would do if the people responsible for arcade changes weren’t lameasses:
Keep his wakeup in line with other fast waking characters, fine. <major nerf because now he has to block much more, but to compensate:
Improve LK raising jaguar so the first hit has a better hitbox. Then adon can have a real punisher and true BnB’s you don’t shit your pants when you attempt.
Improve sweep range so he can better punish people walking backwards.
And I can dream, but remove the stupid avoidance of LK and MK rising jag and let it follow the proper invincibility chart like other DP characters (LK: 2 frames, MK: 4, HK: 6). Who has ever used LK and MK RJ for the avoidance? Yeah.
I know people are requesting close HK to be a command normal, it would be fine sure but won’t help him, antiair for directly above him is already covered very well by delayed HK RJ, you have no reason to use non invincible moves.
Combo into JK would be amazing… It’d look so cool, haha. I’d actually make the tiger knee motion jaguar kick easier to do, cause as it is… I’m struggling.
the only things that come to mind ATM are making his quick rise the same as everyone else’s so people will stop complaining, making his c.MK hitbox a little bit longer, and maybe be able to JK after RJ FADC for untechable knockdown or somethin… meh 50 more HP wouldnt hurt either lol.
and cant forget making U2 do a bit more damage.

Uh, what? The problem with the move is not even getting to your opponent because JT has such bad priority. Making JT FADC’able isnt going to change anything, other than the fact that it will give Adon players another reason to waste meter for no reason.
Also, if you were playing anyone that is decent to good they would punish every single one of your JK’s. They aren’t safe and they are SO predictable.
Honestly mates? Personally, I would change only one thing on Adon: slightly more damage on his Ultra2, that’s it. He’s fine the way he is and players like Gamerbee have shown us, that also mid-tier characters can compete with top-tier characters and are capable to beat them. No need of changing things like st. cl. RH to command attack, any changes to JTs, JKs or RJs. And most important: never ever thinking of nerfing his unique wake-up. Adon’s wake up surely is unique and makes him compared to others in that point unique. But he needs that individual unique skill, I would go so far to say that it is essential for him. (After all, he’s a jaguar and jaguars are really fast.)
But my friends…as far as I can judge by the new balancing to the characters we’ve seen so far, I hardly believe they will buff or improve anyhing on our beloved Adon. Why should they, he’s just on of those mid-tier character. The truth is, that they will beat him with Ono’s nerf bait. The question left, is only how hard he will get hit by Ono-san.
the one thing I’d wish they would change would be to make his ground and air Jaguar Kicks have the same command, and have the kicks give you the same distance traveled. I don’t see why they are reversed, no one else who has air versions of moves is like that.
It’s not that hard to combo off. I find that the best spacing is about 1 person space between you and your op. He takes a monster step forward to do the overhead.
It might not be hard to combo off, but an overhead that only lets you combo if you hit a standing opponent is a retarded concept. They should just change the overhead to something else. It’s retarded as it is now.

edit: I find that most people can react to the overhead anyway. The fact that if they dont I do a relatively small amount of damage and lack the ability to combo from that is shocking.
If Ryu hit me with an overhead id eat a good chunk of damage
