was it this?

Well he’s not cheating because of DPs, he’s cheating because the dude set the timer to 30 seconds. I lol’d pretty hard.
So this turned into a DSP hate thread? Excellent. The guy’s a fucking retard who blames everything the internet, his controller, his opponent, the game, the game devs, shoryuken.com, eventhubs.com, his OPPONENT’S controller.
Oh and Evo too, just because he thinks it’s all a big conspiracy against the east coast. Fuck it. Why not. Surely it must be every other living person’s fault why he loses, other than himself.
And if that doesn’t work, he’ll summon his minion of 13-year-old fan boys to come defend him, as he is “The most popular fighting game persona in the world”. So yes, he is by the very definition, a scrub, no matter what he previously accomplished, or what he endeavors to accomplish, the guy is full-on retard mode scrubtastic.
sorry if this thread got a little off topic, so yes a scrub can be anyone regardless of their skill.
everyone that uses the words spammer or spamming
Actually no, although I’ve seen that one before too.
He’s a funny, funny guy.
Ironically, complaining about someone spamming and using cheap tactics or ‘dirty little tricks’, technically makes you the scrub if you went by the ‘proper’ definition of scrub.
It’s more like this. I don’t see how you can be part of the community, knowing you’re shit at the game, and expect people to associate with you. I mean, there’s nothing to you other than the fact that you suck, and that’s nothing to be proud of. All I’m saying is that I don’t want to spend years practicing a game until I’m no longer viewed as a scrub.
I just read that article. I’m nothing like that. I play to win, and if anything, everyone tells me to not take it so serious and play for fun. However, I do understand what you mean by how one shouldn’t put their self-esteem on the line of competition.
When you lose, the only thing that should be on your mind is why you lost and how to improve. If that was the case this post wouldn’t be here.
Oh my bad I thought you said I “don’t” know what you mean. It’s all good though. You only lose in fighting games if you fail to learn something. Good luck bro.

If the only game you ever placed in is MvC3, or UMvC3, you are a scrub
God no, I’m terrible at that game.
Reply to Everyone: Winning is fun.
Or rather, testing your skill against the best players you can find is fun. Winning is the cherry on top.
Isn’t scrub and novice the same thing?
You know that term came from the show scrubs right? Not exactly this clip but you get the point.
In general, know the move, know the combo all there is to it. You either win or if you lose just do what the other person did to win and if your too stupid to learn from something that simple well… wear a shirt that says 4ever scrub. Noob on the other hand just sounds lame but lame people are starting to use our word, scrub.
scrubs worry about things on srk.
good players just play and become good because they play.
Marry me.
No, the are not the same at all
The term scrub is way older than the show scrubs, the word has been used since the 90’s
It’s not skill level it’s mindset. A scrub asks ‘which characters don’t have a lot of links’ instead of practicing their combos. A scrub blames his opponent for doing random uppercuts instead of asking why he never stopped pressing buttons long enough to block some of them. A scrub doesn’t ask what he has to do to play the game properly, he blames the game for not being structured in a way where his half baked tactics work.
/Thread.
Lock it up mods.
I sincerely think that wanting to play a character that doesn’t rely to much on links for his/her bnbs is not scrubby in anyway, it is a matter of preference.
I love you tebbo.
