The final part is the best. That fat retarded bitch Nadine figured out a way to fail even with no enemies on screen. And I died laughing at the dick-sucking parrot commercial.
Also, ROBONECK. And Good lord that was the biggest fail EVER for R-type, Sonic, and Goemon. That nigga said “She’s throwing away the money” like “aha! I see where she’s going with this”. And WTF version of Sonic 2 was that? Must have been some early beta version.
yeah, I watched Nick Arcade on a regular basis… I think it came on saturday afternoons. I haven’t actually checked out the link, but wasn’t there a thing on the game board called “Power Surge”? That cracked me up at the time, just to hear the host put way too much energy into announcing the power surge, like "there it is it’s a POWWWER SURRGGGEEEEEEE!!!:wow:!!! " I actually recorded it a few times, just so I could listen to the power surge yelling/soundbyte whenever I wanted to.
hey hey hold on now, what in the blue hell… http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/2661/hahastupidfade.jpg <—I hope he got teased relentlessly for being on national tv with that ridiculous fade. There’s NO kind of blend going on at all with that…get the hell outta here…dude got a “bald” high-top, looking like a cartoonist’s interpretation of a black kid in the 90s. I suppose there was 5 minutes back then where this looked cool, but …get the fuck outta here with that. I just can’t get over that fade…seriously, man…it’s like someone placed a black cake on his otherwise bald head. It’s shameful that this was in fact a “style” for a brief moment.
*I’m still laughing at that brick high-top fade cake-head lookin’ little chump…dude looks like he could be a mini-me version of one of the Dick Tracy villains.
Don’t even tell me…wha…this little bitch forgot how to jump?! I think the show had to be scripted or something. There’s no way kids could truly be this bad. I remember the infamous episode with Sonic’s 1st level…but come on, man. There’s no way it could be real unless we’re talking about my old friend “Dumbass”.
I still remember the morning I watched the episode where that girl was playing Mystical Ninja and started throwing the coins. I couldnt believe her then still don’t now. Side note, that game owned multiplayer.
Never had Nickelodeon as kid, so I can’t share the same memories as most here.
But watching that video gave me the urge to look up which I hope fellow Canadian SRKers remember as fondly as I do.
The kids always looked completely uninterested, the prizes sucked, the hosts were annoying, and the show itself appeared to filmed in Nicholas Picholas’ basement. But goddamn, watching these videos makes me feel five years old again.
