I saw “only 2 left” on the TE2+ page and decided to pull the trigger. I was kind of wanting the TES+ because it looked sturdier but everyone seems to be happy with the build quality of their TE2+.
Screw-in wire on the TE-2+ is fine. I hooked it up when I got it and haven’t removed it since, so maybe it’s more of a pain if you’re on and off with it.
I don’t think it feels any more hollow than my old TE-S. It’s big and solid. I’m really happy with it.
The TE-S Plus is not like the TE2. You got to unscrew the 6 bolts. Remove the 8 buttons and the joystick dust washer and ball top.
Find a way to peel off the old art, perhaps with a hair dryer or heat gun set to low to loosen up the glue.
The issue after that. once you printed your new art work is how are you going to protect it for your stick.
You ether have to get the work laminated or get a custom piece of clear acrylic, lexan or other sort of clear plastic sheet.
True i just got it but does the stick sopose to wiggle Tiny bit amount And the ball can spin on top normal? Also im having a hard time learning down back forward stuff any tips
That’s exactly what it’s like. You just gotta keep with it though until the muscle memory kicks in. Eventually stuff will just click, but until then sit in the training room and just do quarter circle motions and dragon punch motions over and over again. Be thankful that Capcom took out the execution shortcuts for motion inputs in this game. I was SOOO irritated trying to learn stick on SF4 because I was afraid I was learning bad habits. I had to switch to Blazblue and MvC3 when they came out to finally make it work.
Use a flat-head screwdriver on the bottom of the joystick shaft to hold it steady, then use your hand to rotate off the balltop. Failing that then use pliers to hold the shaft steady, but if you don’t use some kind of padding it will damage the shaft.
You have top open up the controller, flip it over and look at the joystick from underneth,
You see a slot in the bottom side of the joystick lever, put a flat head screw driver in that slot while you are trying to unscrew the ball top.
all of the other sticks are hideous (te2, all the hraps). if i’m gonna throw $100+ on something i’d rather not hate the way it looks. how fast does mcz usually ship when ordering direct?
