Someone doesn’t understand what the word scrub means…
Just so you know why everyone’s laughing at you: A scrub isn’t a person who “is cheap” or “uses cheap characters.” A scrub isn’t even a noob or an unskilled player. A scrub is a person who promotes a sort of attitude that includes things like using bullshit excuses such as calling whatever tactics or characters beat them “cheap.” In fact, pretty much anyone who uses the word “cheap” to describe successful playstyles is considered a scrub by the competitive community.
Hence the comment “Oh, the irony.” You’ve got it completely backwards.

And there are any number of strategies to deal with them. However, scrubs don’t tend to figure out why they lost. If you weren’t a scrub, you wouldn’t say “Geez, that beat me, that’s really cheap.” You’d think “Geez, that beat me, what can I learn from this so that I can up my game to counter it?”
Also, if someone actually is just spamming random moves, they will be ridiculously easy to beat. If you’re losing to a spammer, that means you’re so bad people don’t even need a strategy to beat you. That’s a problem with you, not with them. If someone beat you by using one move over and over again, you know what that says about the people involved? That one person never bothered to learn how to counter one move. And when they complain about spam afterward, they indicate that they don’t plan to learn to counter and punish that one move. Sad.
I can use myself as an example. When I first got the game I had difficulty dealing with Hidden Missiles + Sentinel zoning (and a little later, I had trouble dealing with Dormammu). I didn’t whine about it, I recognized it as an obstacle to be overcome and investigated ways to deal with it using the team I was already playing. Now, when someone recklessly calls in Doom on me they tend to lose Doom. The tactic no longer holds any fear for me (Nor does Dormammu. He’s actually one of my more favorable matchups now). If I was a scrub, however, I would, to this day, be whining that it was “cheap” because I didn’t know how to deal with it at the time. See the difference?
That guy is hilarious, he sent me an almost identical message with the same ‘Now I’ve blocked you, that showed you’. If you google his name he’s on Ragequitters.com with again an almost identical tirade against someone else.

The message I sent was “lol” after he ragequit from a player match after almost getting perfected. Then I sent “lolol” and got this masterpiece:

From all of this we can learn that 1) Magneto has an infinite that uses pieces of cheese. 2) I may or may not have gotten blocked. 3) I am a tru scrup becuz I have no dignity.
People are really starting to piss me off online. I mean I spent an entire hour last night using Sentinel, Doom, Dormammu spamming Hidden Missles assist and spit with the ocassional chip job of Dorm. Cheapest shit ever and I didn’t get a single hate mail. People are getting way to nice. I even got like 2 messages that said “gg”. This is getting so lame.
