i honestly do not understand why people think this is such a great thing to say. its pretty obscure to say the least i am certain it would be completely lost on most people. Like quoting lines from a monty python movie and laughing to someone who has never heard of or seen a monty python movie.
actually thinking about it rufus wouldve gone well in this game. i would love to see what some of his potential win quotes would be like against someone like shuma, thor, or hulk.
I played against someone named ToodlesDC, who accused me of using Turbo after 20 or so matches. He was relying on Phoenix, and then he decides to switch to Sentinel after 5 matches or so. After he sent me that hate mail, I just decided to leave after winning the next game, and he just says “bye turboscrub.” I never faced someone who frustrated me so much, and then sent me hate mail. Those are the worst kind for me.
Not really hatemail, but kinda funny…a guy sent me a voice message after I locked him down with Doom’s missiles and Taskmaster’s arrows the entire match. I was expecting rage, but he was actually very polite. He stated something like “I’d really appreciate it if you didn’t spam projectiles so much during our matches. It would make for more fun and interesting matches, thanks.”

I told someone over mic that they should forget about the rematch, and that I have to go. So they said they understood I was scared of them.
I said fuck it and played 'em again, and gentlemen, I attained my first perfect online victory that evening.

Anyway, I played against a Cap/Iron/Doom team with my Old School Floe team (Haggar/trish/Sent) on rank, lost to him twice because I was being stupid, so the third match he just try to spam Cap’s charging star super when he has a 2 character lead, I was on Sent with X-factor, I basically ran his team over with sent (I know…) and he rage quit when he has one pixel left with Doom, who he doesn’t even know how to play…

Out of 70 ranked matches, I only got trash talked once, which is pretty amazing. Last night, some guy got really upset about me zoning with Trish. He actually won 3 of 4 games, so I’m not sure what he had to complain about really, but he was pretty upset every time we matched up in ranked. I didn’t say anything back. I figured there was no point since he was already frustrated and upset over simply playing the game. Hehe.
I agree. Fighting game quotes, memes, jokes are all overplayed it isn’t even funny. family man quote, dan tier jokes (or just really stupid dan jokes in general), anything from the Mahvel Baybee viral video… shit gets annoying quick.
