I don’t get rage mail anymore. The only time I did was when I picked Storm and Sent for a few games.
Now I use Haggar on point with Taskmaster and Wesker. I only get things like “nice Haggar pressure” or “your Haggar fucked me up.”

People need to realize that almost every (If not every) character has some form of cheap bullshit in this game. But people have this horrible mindset that the characters they use are all “skillful” characters and everyone else just uses the other ones with cheap properties.
Seriously with most characters I can name at least 1 form of cheap BS. Like I use Zero and his -> H is +4 on block which is insanely cheap (People still need to learn to push block better though). I also use Doom who can X-factor cancel out of block stun directly into his level 3 hyper for an easy 800,000-900,000 damage.
Marvel 3 is the first online game I’ve ever gotten hate mail from. Somehow skirted the salty peanuts even in SFIV during the height of its casual popularity.
Last night I got a super salty bro cursing nonstop with Xbox Live’s favorite insult “you’re a f**king bitch” because I’m playing Arthur and you know, Arthur throws a lot of projectiles. I’m not even playing pure keepaway; I go in with Arthur too, when I get the chance. The guy really sucked though; he was clearly just mashing random buttons in the middle of the screen, and he never called in a single assist… ever. Still, in some form of twisted credit, he didn’t disconnect. He exploded in bro-rage tho at the end - I won by decision and a sliver of health. I wasn’t trying to time out; he was honestly hard to catch and take down just because he was randomly super jumping non-stop.
He instantly sent a message that read “good game bitch you little time out bitch”
Of course, people are retarded with online games, period. Everyone imagines they’re a Cool Bro in their heads who pwns all, and since most people aren’t champion players, they’re constantly frustrated by reality. Fighting games seem to bring it out worst of all though because they are such an in-your-face, do or die type of gameplay. Short rounds, 1 man stands, 1 man falls, etc etc.
Hate mail will gradually become less and less so cherish it while you can. The casual players (who think they are really good at fighting games because they know how to do a fireball and shoryuken with Ryu) will soon get distracted by the next FPShit game and will be gone forever. Anyone who actually understands fighting games will rarely send hate mail… although they might get frustrated by someone elses play style, they no better to sound like a crying scrub after a loss.
I got a hate mail from dismantling a guy using Zero. He didn’t push block so I was able to get him in the corner and spam -> H the entire time and not let him breathe. I got a pretty extensive hate mail afterwards saying I spam like a bitch and he wanted a rematch. So I obliged and zoned him the entire time with Thor’s Mighty Spark and Doom’s rocks assist.
Afterwards another hate mail saying all I do is sit back and fire projectiles like a bitch.
You rush down and don’t let them breathe you are a bitch. You sit back and zone with projectiles the entire time you are a bitch. I would really like a definition from the scrubs out there what isn’t considered “bitch” play. I doubt they could give a coherent answer.

Funny but true…the only time you’re not a bitch is when a scrubby-dee-dubby actually wins a match. Then, you’re not a bitch and you got totally outclassed by his fantastic play. lol

Had a guy lose to my She-Hulk/Doom/Phoenix team in ranked who then messaged me “you’re so cheap, go suck a dick”. It goes without saying that his team of Deadpool/Wolverine/Zero got pwned by a keepaway Dark Phoenix 
The ironic thing in this? I looked at my recent players list the next day and saw he was playing CoD Black Ops. Well, maybe that isn’t so ironic…
Seriously, I have no sympathy whatsoever for anyone that can’t or won’t learn how to deal with Phoenix. If you let your opponent get to 5 bars without taking out Phoenix, then you deserve to get blasted by Dark Phoenix.
got my first hatemail,Kept the opponent zoned with deadpool guns and hsien ko pendulum assist,didn’t really need much else because the opponent couldn’t figure it out. He rage quits(by the way who rage quits on player matches,they dont even record the results) and he sent me a message saying your cheap learn a new move to which i replied never. The thing is im not that great at that team so if he had just taken the effort he may have been able to get close and destroy me(or not). I have been shut down by spam before but i dont take it personally,its my fault if it works.
