People don’t like Ruby heart. I accidentally picked Magneto/Ruby Heart/cable last night and just spammed her aa assist against a BH/doom/commando player. The results were pretty hilarious.

I find people who don’t know how to get out of Blackheart random sj demons send hate mail most of the time. But my Spiral/Sent trap has gotten a lot (and I mean A LOT) of RQ’s and hatemail. Not nearly as much as other teams though.
I’m not sure where to post this so forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I was recording my roommate playing some MvC2 in hopes to catch a few rage quits because right now it seems out of control. We Managed to get 2 recorded out of the 5 we had that night. Now I know hes not the best MvC2 player but that’s what makes the rage quits even more funny imo.
You’re bragging about beating obvious scrubs? Really? That to me says more to me about your pride than theirs. Dudes don’t know what the hell they’re doing and go to play someone more their skill level. They didn’t come at you via PM with how awesome they are, they just ran away like any mall scrub would because they couldn’t hang.
I’ve been called everything in the book seems like: Cheap bastard, Spamming Spiral’s knifes no skill, partner abuse, lol. I jug glitched this one dude and swept his team, he SWORE I used game codes or something even after I told him it’s a glitch.
Is this directed towards me? I’m not sure but if it is I don’t really see where your coming from. Last I checked a rage quit is a rage quit you should take your loss not pull the plug. I also don’t see where your getting this idea that were bragging? I also have matches of him losing that haven’t been uploaded yet. I don just post vids of wins. Also on the games he wins I blank the opponents name out just out of Curtice for the other player as they may not be playing their main, not trying, mom bugging them, ect ect But if you rage quit I’m sorry your not getting any sympathy your going to be exposed as a rage quitter.

I was going to PM this, but thought it might be a relatively useful thought:
My point was really that a lot of people quit when they’re being beaten/destroyed - I don’t see that as very interesting. I could put up at least a hundred matches of that, and that’s with my generally nice/easy play style.
I just kind of saw their play as pretty pathetic - it’d be easy for anybody to get several thousand rage quits against people that are that bad at the game. What’s the point? At that point we’re just kind of bragging about making the game experience terrible enough for new players that they want to quit and go play some other game instead. That doesn’t do us any favors long-term if we want Capcom/Marvel to stay invested in the series.
People sending messages are funny, people that suck and quit because they can’t cope is just sad. Videos of good players rage quitting is more interesting, but even there - it’s online and sometimes the lag can be nearly unbearable. Remember that only one person usually can see the badness, while to the other person it looks great. So - be careful when rushing to judgement. =\
I guess we have two different views on it then. I just feel no matter how good or bad you are you should just take the loss and not punk out. I mean what would they do if this was an arcade just walk away? personally I feel its more embarrassing to d/c then finish the match. You say vids like that discourage new comers but honestly if they are pulling the plug because they are losing then they are not playing this game to learn. I guarantee people like that never come back after playing for a week or so because all they do is lose and rage quit. We all know you have to lose in order to learn but these people don’t care and expect to win right off the bat and when they can’t they just quit the game all together. Watch after a few months go by the rage quitting will drop and won’t be as common as it is now and they are the people who actually wanna learn the game.
Also Just a fyi that one match with the We_WERE_Soldiers guy is not completely innocent. This was the 2nd match we had with him and the first one he was talking all kinds of crap. Call us a “scrub” and “you don’t know how to play” so obviously he had some idea of what was going on if hes going to insult people during a match like that.
