I was just wondering what other teams people play besides the regular teams like top tiers. Whats your favorite team and whats their strengths and weaknesses? I need to know so I can defeat everyone at evo next year LMAO

I’m practicing with others but for now these are my favorite teams to play with. I’am working on trying a Ironman, Psylocke, Chun - Li team but its kinda hard lol.
-Guile aaa, gambit proj, charlie aaa
…my first low tier team. has five meter flash combo with tag in.
-Capam aaa, gambit proj, tron
…current main low team. Does ridiculous DHC damage in any order. Guaranteed kill with 3, sometimes only 2 bars.
-Colossus, aaa, thanos capture, juggs dash.
…Team stupid damage. Can really hurt a character or team.
-Gabit proj, cykes aaa, tron proj
…another one of my main low teams. Lots of damage and mixups with gambit.
-Tron proj, IM aaa, Juggs ground. [start with IM first to build meter.]
…Fun team. I use it to set up the double proton cannon.
-Roll proj, cykes aaa, tron proj or doom aaa
…just a fun team.
-Venom exp, sent proj, tron proj
…I abuse venoms double throw setup with tron for insane damage. Does good damage and good DHC into sentinel off of the venom web.
-IM aaa, cable aaa, tron proj
…pretty new team for me.
-Doom aaa, anakaris throw, hulk dash
…abusing resets using anakaris throw assist. Catches opponents off guard for lots of damage. 3 meter DHC kills opponents. APA > anakaris magic > gamma crush
-ruby heart capture, hulk dash, doom aaa or sonson aaa
…Fun team. decent lock down with ruby/doom or sonson. Sets up the double gamma crush glitch.
-storm proj, silver samurai ground, tron proj
…build meter with storm. LS > SS lightning for massive damage. Freeze power up, s.lp, s.fp + tron xx ground ice super, reset and repeat. Good times.
-Guile aaa, capam dash, ken aaa

I’m the type that once i decide on a certain team, i stick with it for a long time and rarely change. In my opinion thats how you get better, by forcing yourself to stay with that 1 team you’ve chosen and working to adapt to changing opponents.

Then there is Cable/Sent/cyke- which i only pick occasionally.
Ruby Heart/ IM/ Sent - The real combofiend. Or at least Glitchfiend. The ruby dash s.FP frame advantage block strings are too good with sent-y, I think thats pretty much a given. Good solid DHC into proton cannon off any hit, fairly safe. Im not even gonna start on the ridiculousness of sent with ruby’s AAA. It works alot like Iron Man AAA, but its alot less relient on screen positioning. It also fills a big hole in his ground block strings, with alot more pressure than I.M. AAA. But the combos…just too sick.
Iceman/Sent/Doom - Too much fing chip for free. Icemans launcher is alot like iron mans, mad priority up top. Doom is taller than iceman. So every time mags, storm, whothefever tries to stuff your doom from the top, launch them into artic attackXXHSF, mad fun, no lies. Say you call doom from the other side of the screen, how does your opponent escape the chip? Since you “Know” they are gonna superjump, throw in icebeam up there, knock them back into dooms rocks, and throw a horizontal icebeam to follow the last rocks. Rinse and repeat. Hella frustrating for the opponent. Try sents ground traps with icebeam assist. (Fly IceM, Unfly c.Fp) ((HSF, c.FP + IceM, c.FP HSF)) ((anti g.c. - c.FP + IceMxxHSF)) You also get the FF magz combo with Icebeam, though it does abit less due to damage scaling. You also can do the HSF > air combo > Icebeam > HSF> Air combo on the wall. And if IceMan is still standing when doom comes out, j.FP + Icebeam is too cheesy. When doom is way up high throwing pink shit try xxFly IceM assist d.+RHxxPA. When your sent can zone well, this team will own shit.
