When I was a kid playing Street Fighter 2 I never heard about these rules. I was born in Korea though and visited there most summers and went to arcades while there so maybe it was just an American thing.

Seriously, for those who need to and you know who you are. Read these links damnit, and even the “So you want to be a dominator” series. I know these links have already been posted before but this should be the last time. I swear, this site has been fucking spoonfeeding people strats and gameplay tips for almost a damn DECADE. Here there is fucking video reference to almost everything you need to know. I was about 12 when Super Turbo came out and when I played in the arcades against older people I never once got any kind of mercy and I never wanted it. No one ever apologized for throwing me or any of that nonsense. They were better than me but that only helped me get better myself. Was it infuriating at times? Hell yes but it makes you want to learn ways to get around those annoying techniques, or maybe even adopt them yourself. Or you can just cry about it. One of these methods is productive, the other is just annoying.
Of course, I still suck at SF but thats a whole other story.

Id be quite annoyed if I was a devoted member of a forum for years, a forum that was a great place to share techniques and secrets and out of no where servers start crashing due to new members with the IQ of a coconut
Just for a quick FYI, I never lumped any “09 members” in the mix. Scrubs can be from any join date, but they still share the same ideals of the one’s mentioned and frowned upon.

I think the mods of this board are … busy playing SF4, or they don’t really know what’s going on in the nonsense of a 65-page, otherwise great thread. There’s a few guys that need some infractions, though. Should just let the mods know via PM.

I want to hear that voice message from a few pages back, with the group of 12 year old guys screaming obscenities into the mic with their whiny voices. We need more hate-filled voice mail put on youtube!
this child shows potential in the classroom, but does not get along well with others. he doesn’t seem to grasp the concept that other children have opinions which are different from his and has a problem accepting it. let’s hope he applies himself next quarter and improves on his next report card!
