As for myself, after about 500 ranked matches i’ve only had one piece of pretty tame hatemail, which basically said my Abel was boring. I was TT’ing him around like a rag doll.
I send out plenty of "u mad"s to the ragequitters, but they never reply. I even had one guy say sorry for d/c on me. SORRY.
Everything else has been love/ggs/friend requests, i’m pretty surprised.

Got a pretty tame hate mail a week ago or so, nothing special; “glad to see tools play sf4 as well” after spinning someone around a few times too many with 'Gief. Today though I’m glad to say I finally got a real hate mail.
Played 19 games against some french guy. He seemed to have answers for most anything else apart from cross up splashes, so I abused them to high hell. I’m guessing the final game sent him off the deep end; tied at 9 games each, one round each in the final game and he is in the lead with a tiny bit of health.
He is running away like he should, but I just camp on the other end and eventually I got what I was looking for. His patience broke down and he jumped forwards and I caught him with a lariat which led to a really ugly cross up splash-fest that won the game haha.
Long story short: He actually wished for the death of my parents(message: “i hope ur parent die soon”) in broken English AFTER I had sent “ggs”.
I replied with: “Sad you feel that way, GIEF SPLASH -> LARIAT!(don’t worry, I know you don’t have a defense for it haha!). Too bad you had to go and be a little bitch about losing though :))))))))))))”. Didn’t see a reply after that and I had to log anyways.:lol:

I had a really good game with an E. Honda that ended up in an epic ending, at the end of the 3rd round we both hit each each other and he knocked me down, we both only had a sliver of health left. I noticed he was kinda jumpy on my wakeup so I tried a reversal DP, he did a flying buttstomp at the same time… The buttstomp hit me clean and won out. Fortunately I played him again and won my BP back (hadouken abuse with Ryu… he juts fucked up getting past the traps)

My friend is pure grapple and accidentally did random. And he gets Fei Long. He’s never used Fei Long in his life. So he just grabs spams this Ken scrub for all three rounds and loses by less than 1/25 of his health in the third of three rounds. We were laughing so hard at a grappling fei long.
Sure enough the guy sends this message:

I sent a message ‘gg, frustrating to play your akuma’ and got back ‘ye I know, but that was all i could do’.
the honesty was surprising.

One guy however was uber impressed with my ownage of him at the hands of Gooeyken. Something to the effect of:

I will out me here now. I disconnected once (I swear to god, I will NEVER EVER EVER do it again), but I was on a losing streak and have lost 10 games in ranked and then an “El fuerte” does his jump+throw special and I had no chance to counter it… aaah… got the deserved “haha, only faggots dc” back and was quite ashamed after that…
Once, after losing, I got a “ha ha noob”, from a Ken, myself was playing dictator…
Other than that, nothing.
Oh well…

I was playing a guy once who disconnected right as I was about to finish him off and he messages me saying “Haha you almost got be but I left so its still 0-0.” I just messaged him back and said “Your garbage. Please do everyone a favor and return your game”
