Some guy was using Ryu and I was Ryu, he had an Ultra ready and both of us had a little bit of life left. So I stood back and fireball spammed the shit out of him because I didn’t want to walk into his ultra. He just stood there and tried to block them all until it decreased his energy bar.
He messeged me: “Nice fireball spam, puss.”
I replied: “learn how to jump.”

I was playing Dan and I lost 2-1 against a runaway happy Akuma. I then rushed his dumb ass down and double perfected him. It was so EPIC!!! Managed to get Ultra since all he would do is throw one-hit fireballs and I would just FADC into him to combo. He disconnected shortly after 
Need to get the names for sure… I had some funny responses. Been using the lazy “lol u mad” deal after a bunch of ragequits. Man I don’t even know why I get them so much. My Dan isn’t even all that amazing.
I think its funny when I beat someone a match and then in the second match they barely beat me and then start shit talking.
I played a scrub who picked Ken (of course), so I countered with his Japanese counterpart Ryu. He kept jumping all the time and doing random SRK’s, so 90% of my offense was purely throwing. I didn’t feel the need to do anything else because I needed a good laugh. Immediately after the match was over, I point to my buddy’s friend (whose account I was using), and said, “You’re gonna receive some hate mail.” Low and behold, I get a message right on cue which stated, “U GAY.” So therefore, I said, “The answer lies…in the heart of battle.”
I got an
“lol ur shit”
Which I replied with an lol
and an unknown because I really have no idea wtf this kids message sent. But It sounded angry.

We both had headsets, he was Ken (boo), I was Balrog, and he was going on and on like “Yeah, keep throwing me bitch, keep it up scrub” and that jazz.
I (as calmly as I could) asked “get around it and just fight”, he goes into a tirade like “LEARN TO PLAY AS A CHARGE CHARACTER YOU NOOB QUIT TURTLING ALL THE DAMN TIME” and all sorts of nonsense.
…not my fault I didn’t waste any effort in BLOCKING and PUNISHING his badly telegraphed attacks.
No hate-mail or messages afterward, though.
Actually at the end of the match, after the character does their win quote and the screen shows you how many medals you earned, on the bottom of the screen two options are displayed. Press X to exit or press triangle to view the other players profile. If you choose to view their profile it takes you to a menu with options to send both a message and friend request. Just break yourself of the habit of spamming X / Start at the end of every match.

I’m not even good but I was pleased to get this hate mail, makes me feel better about myself. At least he didn’t rage quit like two other players I beat.
I played a really shitty Akuma player who went by the tag masterhiggs93 or whatever. He sent me a message after gettin worked by Fei Long about how much I blocked or threw him then threw around an ex-marine title and that he was gonna come kill me.
I told him go back to Queers of War and STFU otherwise learn the game. And that America hasn’t been invaded since WWII if you can call Pearl Harbor that, so he hasn’t protected me from shit.

I beat him one friendly match by mixing up elf’s run-crossup splashes and run-slides on his wakeup. He quits and I get this:

I’m feeling a little sorry for the scrub so I think I’ll help him out a little
Me- Yes you can. people block mixups all the time. if you cant figure out how to block and are feeling stuck, throw out a soul throw. it wont hit but at least you escaped.

I mostly get gg’s or something to that effect. I got some awesome mails from a guy whose player match I joined–stomped his Gouken with Ken, and he sends me “good shit.” We play a while longer, he sends me a message he’s about to play with someone else, so I leave and send him a gg. he replies:
“4sho man you whooped me like yo son but its good u got game no shame in dem Ls good shit.”
I lol’d. He’s on my friends now. Man, I wish more random dudes online could be like this. I totally shut him out, but I he’s definitely got respect for the game and wants to learn it.
I’ve had a few disconnects, the most notable 2 are
zangief (me) vs ryu - nfi what this guys problem was, he had a pretty decent zoning game and I really had to work hard to get in, after winning 2 in a best of 5, the guy just quits :wonder:
Rufus (me) vs Bison - best of 5, I’m one up. I end up dizzied and the guy goes for the scissor kick ultra. He gets a teleport instead, I wake up and hit target into ultra. d/c
I also played a good blanka, who made me work real hard as a zangief. I msged him gg afterwards, only to have him reply that he was drunk and that his son was playing me…lol?
