Got a few friend requests from people I had fun playing with. The most anyone has ever said to me though was “damn your abel lol, friends?”
I had one person msg me with a “thx for the games” after going 4/2 with them, and after playing with my terribad Gief against a Guile player who had no trouble pinning me down with sonic booms, low RKs and flash kicks, he sent me a msg saying “change character…”, so I responded with “thanks for the advice, good job with your zoning game.” It took a lotta willpower to keep from going off on him, so I took his advice to heart, realized I’m terrible with Zangief, and decided to switch characters…which is why I play Rog now. :bgrin:
I got one last night while training for the GS tourny. What ever his name is just sent me a message titled “***”. My first ever hate mail.
I got a very subtle “eat me” after beating my first opponent online. I responded “thanks for the bp, lol” Other than that, I’ve played one JP Ryu. He was good, but I was better
a few friend requests so far. is that good or bad?
I’ll usually send a message saying gg after most of my matches unless it lags. Otherwise I’m tempted to complain about it… I mainly get gg’s back though, haven’t gotten anything rude yet… YET.
I encounter the exact opposite, maybe because I play Ken. I pick, they wait for me to pick, then they counter-pick, usually Akuma. Then I stuff their air fireballs (most of the time). 
I also haven’t had a single drop yet, but maybe I’ve been lucky. I refuse to drop, it’s no fun to play just for a W/L ratio.
I mostly get rage quitters.
Or, after raping one of many Ryu/Ken scrubs, after entering a lobby with them again, they drop me immediately.
How some of these dudes rack up BP is a mystery to me.
Only positive response was

Surprisingly, I haven’t really had any messages so far. There was one that said “youtube.” Not entirely sure what that’s about. Although, there have been quite a few people who’ve quit on me before I won.
I play Fei long as my main and I finally played somebody using Dhalsim online. After whooping his ass silly, he sent me this message:
“Thank f’n God you weren’t the billionth Ken”
I cracked up lol.

I got a message from someone telling me that I was a fucking noob and he was going to kick my ass. I responded with, “I’d probably just block then, too.”

A Gouken player sent me mail complaining about me throwing too much. Which was weird, since he won. That’s all i’ve gotten for hate mail so far.
I usually toss out a “Good fight. Thanks.” and usually get nothing or a “yeah, great fight”. Other than that, I haven’t really got many messages. I have gotten one that was happy I wasn’t a Ken and that I was playing Guile.

One guy told me it was nice fighting someone from the same city. We both live in Sacramento, Ca.
Sadly, I’m not kidding…every time I go into a fight I see Sagat.
So far, the only message I’ve gotten was 1 “Good Game” that I responded the same too, and 2 friend requests from guys that I played with who actually had a mic and we just chatted while playing.
the players I’ve played so far seem respectable, or at least they are biting their tongue!
