Mostly I get ggs but the other day i got “all you know how to do is block ***!!” b/c I kept baiting shoryus defending then punishing his ass with combos. Dude didn’t learn so I just kept repeating that strat over and over.
I’ve gotten a few “good games” but that’s about it.
I’m sick of people kicking/dropping in PLAYER MATCH that shit don’t count!!!
The only way I can get more then one match out of someone is play one of the other 5 folks I play with, leave the main out for last in case I lose.
I’ve learned that when people do this in the lobby before they’ve played you it might have something to do with your title… when i used “ultra” title i got kicked 75% of the time even with great connections. I changed it to something like “can’t fight” or one of the ones that make you look like a scrub and they don’t kick me till after the first fight.

Re: sending messages on the PSn - I’ve actually become quite adept at it from playing lots of ST. A keyboard would be nice tho. I should probably pick one of those up.

I get ALL sorts of hate during matches when I fireball spam with Akuma. It’s so much fun, and some how people think they are ruining my experience by bitching at me to stop fireball spamming, but on the contrary it makes the spamming all the more pleasurable.

I’ve barely started playing online but everyone I’ve actually received messages from has been super nice, win or lose.

Worst thing I have encountered is that a sore loser repeatedly sent me a message saying DISTRACTION!!! which of course popped up in the corner constantly as I was playing.
Needless to say after I’d finished my game I sent him an indescribably obscene message and blocked him.
After a barrage of El Fuerte’s splashes on his Zangief I received:

Though I’ve played a few ranked matches and afterwards the player asks to play some player games which was good. A nice 20-30 rounds of kicking C. Viper’s hot ass, yummy.
After a nice best of 5 vs a Cammy (Sakura’s my main) I got a “tuff ^_^;;!” … judging by the adorable emoticon I don’t think that’s hate. I wish people would hate me more so I could contribute better to threads like these
I used Sakura against Akuma. Won. Got a message later "sakura is for scrubs"
Other than that its usually a nice exchange.

just now i was playing Player Match with the same guy for like 20mn in row, and he was pwning my ass completely! lol. so i sent a GG message cause it was being fun to play with him, and he added me to friends, so we started voice chat, and he gave me some tips etc.
