I was pretty sad when Flora got the telegram about James dying in a car accident. I don’t cry easily, but that kind of choked me up. In part two of that story, it was pretty said when it finally hit Flora that James was dead, and she broke out crying (the DAMN, DAMN, DAMN scene).

Archie Bunker saying goodbye to Edith. He was also somewhat in denial, and then he saw an old slipper of her’s and started crying.
