Strange day to take this route of “humor.” Every comedian works to make their timing better, so go do that. Or maybe humor is not for you. I guess I wrote this up terribly kind of about the same subject before, to share stories whether or not it takes.

Anyway. I could do it again.
My grandpa, full 100% Native American passed away about 10 years ago. He was a good guy. He enjoyed his grandsons at his house playing Dreamcast here, noting “man its getting better and better each year to almost look like the real thing!” The NBA 2K series, where they didn’t really care about putting defense in the game yet, or the whole Television camera angles only. Swivel a whole 180 degrees to see the other side of the court on every rebound! But for the time it was good, we couldn’t complain. Simulation basketball probably has 50 time outs a game and commercials to be like the real thing, which they do have in the games too now.
So, some guy we never heard of before, ever, came out from where our grandpa grew up. Helping bury him, and some things during ceremonies of the funeral.
During some downtime at the house, while we’re playing NBA 2K again, he walks in the room and says something completely different about the game.
“What is this a basketball game? Heheh, as long as those N’ers are beating the other N’ers!” and walked out.
Man, we were just kids. I don’t think we told anybody what he said but were pretty standoffish the rest of the days he was around. He tried to be giving to say he would be our grandpa now. But we didn’t say anything back to him.
I couldn’t say for sure but it sounded like he was just making stuff up for Indian speak during the burial. Family? Yeah right. Drunk side of Native Americans, pretty sure. So we haven’t talked to him or seen him since that day it seems like.
I forgot what the point is, but I wanted to talk it out and finally tell somebody anyway. Even if Matriarch responds to nobody’s stuff since it will be 95% negative anyway that warrants no response that will make more come by anyway because of a post about the nonsense is an appearance. Maybe, this kinda dude should be lost to the sands of time, not integrating or respecting people that can be seen as similar to his own experience, to learn and share from eachother, and letting things go. Misplacing his hate if he has to hate someone. Big frybread ball of hate over here, nearly teaching grandkids wrong.

But sometimes Matriarch comes in here with the black jokes/you men this my pamphlets and women journal articles say this, sounding like my crazy estranged uncle or “I’m going to change you monsters and cavemen future criminal rapists!” Knowing exactly what you are doing, pricking your finger and letting blood drop in a shark tank. Or standing on the soapbox yelling things and hoping someone stops to listen to your pleas and don’t have the followup on if someone did pay attention to you for step 2, since they won’t be the same person as you with the same experience and beliefs learned through your lifetime. You want those likes? Participate by liking other people’s posts. It goes both ways.
So we can all improve. Even if everyones communication skills leave much to be desired sometimes.
