I remember having a hard time putting back the C-Clip on the Seimitsu just cause I didn’t have c ring pliers. So can I purchase e-clips at a Home Depot/Lowes or do I have to get it online?
i got e-clips from home depot. i think these are 5/8 size? but bring your shaft along just in case.

This really helps, thank you guys! Yeah just ordered the LS-32, hopefully I’ll do fine on UMvC3. Oh and I assume the Seimitsu bubble tops will fit on the Zippy, right?
Terrific, everything fits! Balltop, joystick, etc. Even the Zippy mounting plate fits on a Seimitsu joystick and the holes match on the HRAP3 mounting bracket.

Okay real quick, I’m having some trouble finding screws fitting on the mounting plate. Home Depot and Lowes were no luck so I might end up going to Ace Hardwares, long story short what size of screw will I need for my mounting plate.
you mean mounting plate to bracket? M4 should work
M4 didn’t work for me 
I’m probably gonna have to go to Ace Hardware or something, I went to Home Depot for M4 screws and it somewhat fit on the mounting bracket. Oh and I put my spare LS-32 PCB I had laying around my room and put on the Zippy, it fits.
will a crown 303a fit into the hrap ex, is that just the 360 version of the hrap 3?
Should fit… There’s no difference between the cases, themselves.
Sometimes the parts are different. For whatever reasons, the Seimitsu 360-edition joysticks tend to use the tab version (0.187) of the LS-32 whereas the more limited PS3 editions use the LS-32-01 (standard PCB version most people buy; there is an LS-32-02 PCB model with the flat mounting plate used for alternate installations).
Could be that the PS3 PCB is common ground (has been in every PS3 joystick I’ve bought from Hori) whereas the EX 360 joystick uses a non-common(?) ground PCB. Don’t know if that influences the decision on which joystick lever to put into the case…
Yeah I guess from the looks of it, it’ll probably fit but then again I am not familiar with the EX since I only have the regular HRAP on PS3.

So there is a huge height difference between the shafts, the Zippy shaft is a bit longer than the Sanwa JLF but that isn’t a big deal.
Idk if any of you are interested but here’s a pic of the inside of the HRAP3 with the LS-32. And I have replaced the C-Ring with a I believe “3/8” E-Clip on the stick.
