I’ve never played HF (sadly) but I could see that being even better.

of the sf2’s, HF might be the purist
ST is up there but not to many people like it because of the supers and how they affect game play. It does get gay when you have good players start doing tick, throw then mixing that up with tick, super.
sf4 sucks and I don’t really know why people play it. Newer doesn’t mean better.
Alpha 2 is VERY technical even though it has loads of BS in it. Valle cc is pretty powerful. I used to play all the time and I would lose to players who couldn’t footsie to save their life but could do valle CC with chun or other random characters for 50-75% of your life.
If more people played HF on ggpo, I’d say that would be best but since they don’t I gotta choose ST.

I love how nobody said this before Jeff Schaeffer (sp? sorry.) came out and said this, and now everybody’s taking dumps on the only SF2 game they’ve been playing for the past 10 years. Not saying you in particular, but ST hate has just come out of the woodwork.

sf3ts > sf3si > sf4 > sfa2 > sfa3 > ST > the rest. hf was fun back in 92, now theres better.
Anyone who understands the concept of risk/reward wouldn’t pick 3S.

I like all three schools, HF, ST and 3s, can’t really pick just one.
And yes, forget my Rose AV, SFIV sucks.
ST is intense, fast, and fun. There’s some things I don’t like about it but that goes for every SF game case in point being 3S.

Anyways, ST, 3S, and IV. All for different reasons, they all share the same basic fundamentals but are vastly different games. Each one has their downs and ups and it’s stupid to compare them. It’s a matter of personal taste.
3s, ex +@. that game had so many cool characters, they should really use them in a more recent game.
I routinely play ST on ggpo and have been since ST has been added so its not like I’m totally talking out of my ass.
There’s nothing wrong with ST but I can see how someone like schaeffer(sp) could hate it coming from the other games. The supers do add another layer to the game that you can easily frown upon. I’m used to dying in 1 hit when I play marvel, losing 50-60% off a mistake is something thats not new to me.
