I remember one where there were mummies, amongs other enemies, who were particularly formidable and would scream when they attacked. I think that particular RPG had a food/drink system in it and was available on either the genesis, sega cd, or ps1 as well. I really wish I could remember what it was called.
I remember another one where the character creation screen was some blue wireframe (or maybe just blue) background and the male/female outline was solid green. The game started you off in some village at night and houses could be found set ablaze.
By the way, how come only some artisans and traders show up on the menu map in The Witcher 3?
although not first person, I highly recommend the game Dungeons & Dragons - Dark Sun : Shattered Lands. Not only is it based on the godly campaign setting of Dark Sun (if a mage gets to level 20 or 30 they becomes a Dragon King) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Kings_(Dark_Sun) bit it was a really good MS-DOS RPG, although I distinctly remember getting to the end of the game, and the last boss (a Terrasque) was invisible due to a game glitch, and you couldn’t target it but it could wipe you the fuck out.
