What if Capcom Fighting All Stars was never cancelled?

If Capcom never cancelled the game, it might have done pretty well. It was a new game with new characters, character renders, and appeal. I never knew much about the gameplay, but it might have been like SFEX or something. Also, if they actually finished the product, Capcom Fighting Evolution would probably have never been made. So, what do you think would have happened?

I would play it. I liked SFEX2+ and Project Justice so Capcom making a 3D fighter does not really bother me.

i heard it did really really bad at the beta testings

Because it probably would have rivaled SvC for which is worse and Capcom realized it.

what i remember about the game play is …

2-punches is throw
2-kicks is dodge …

is it the same as projus ?

do they had UOH ??

We would be playing a shitty 3d fighter instead of a shitty 2d fighter.

reason why the game is bad …

dodging >>parry …

serious …

example you do fierce , close fierce or strong.forward , i’ll tap f…kk , and i’m already dash into you back , next step is throw or super …

parry in 3d is much much easier …

and 4 buttons ??

Theres no “what if”. Capcom All Stars is underdevelopment in Japan. It’s announced there and it will make it’s way to the United States sometime around later of 2005.

What???

Haggggggggggarrrrrrrrrr!

So when did this little development happen?

The game was really, really bad. We would have had Final Fight Revenge 2 on our hands.

WTF? That’s new to me…

Source please.
I’ll admit, I’d be very pleased if this were true, but I have trouble believing it.

looks in Arcadia Nope, not there.
looks in Famitsu Nope, Not there either.
scans Capcom.jp Nope, no word there either.

Sounds like bull to me.

he’s outdater …

CFJ had already been canned -__-

Not too long ago, I read the source about it on a Japanese Capcom website. I can read Japanese very well and I doubt all of you could do the same. I forget what the link is named.

Since it brought shame to the people in the arcades in Japan, Capcom decided to remodel the game completely.

Don’t test Saotome Kaneda.

I call “dotdotdotdotdot” to be bull shit.

Actions speak louder than words. You will see that this game will come out next year.

The only fighting game Capcom has planned for 2005 is the new Vampire sequel, that’s it aside from the Xbox CFJ port.

SFAC for Xbox doesn’t count, since most people have the region-free Japanese version.
