Pretty much nothing.
i play.
That’s pretty damn impressive.
Me? Psh, I don’t even have a clue… I pretty much keep supporting as much as possible.
Everyone in Chicago knows I got their back’s 100%.
I’m an optimist.
Not too much, though I am starting my own LAN parties where me and my friends (who previously never took an interest in the genre) play fighting games every weekend.
Yep, I think it was that one.
Been ages since I’ve seen an AC.
I started a little thing called ECC back in the day. It was a reaction to the lack of tournaments on the east coast. Sure there was controversy, but in the end it helped get people on the east coast hyped up about tournaments (is that even right? sorry, i left the scene before everyone started saying “get hype” and all that vernacular.) and cement a true nationwide competitive fighting game circuit in the United States.
Like Renegade (sup Robin!) said earlier: Running tournaments is a totally thankless job. I wouldn’t change any of it - the good times far outweighed the shitty.
Your mom and your sister, at the same time.
I play video games sometimes, too.
What have other people done?
Cody ran the local dojo for years, that’s why people in Seattle got crazy good.
Rattana’s our famous local sensei and ran the tourneys back in the day.
I built this site and founded the biggest fighting game tournament in the world.
your rep shows that
I run local tournaments (arcade and console), travel to other tournaments around the nation and most of all…
I play :wow:
Thread got owned free after this.:nunchuck::china:
^^^ A winner is you.
but it wasn’t arcade, so it doesn’t count.
thank you sir
who the fuck are you?
go back to GD
I mowed Sabin’s lawn so he could attend tournaments.
And I uploaded a bunch of VF5 videos so people could see cool costumes.
i ripped a whole bunch of guilty gear sprites
that’s about it really
^^^^ What did I do for the community? I laughed at this guy.
I also play a mean game of Arkanoid, but it’s a little harder to keep that scene alive than CvS2.
I took my clothes off for money.
Oh also, I ran a bunch of local tournaments for San Diego because after Painter/Romedy/Milo etc quit games, San Diego was pretty dead for awhile. And I used to post about strategy even though only like 7 people actually thought about what was being said while everyone else just said what they said in the first place only louder and with less tact.
But most people remember me for taking my clothes off for money and winning pose-offs for money.
