The life of Ken Masters. Just by saying that, one’s fist thoughts may be ‘GREAT’ or something involving money, women, cars, everything every man wants. Ken’s got it made, some would say. Ken doesn’t need to fight, Ken’s better than Ryu, Ken’s got so much style, will Ken marry me?! All these thoughts could come to one’s mind…but what people see at most times is only the shell of Ken Masters…the real Ken, is rarely seen…
Ken had tried to sleep all night, but the endless tossing and turning in the oversised bed prevented him from even drifting off into a dream. He had grunted pulling his sheets over his head, as the sunlight had just started to peek through the opened window just several feet away from his bed. Any minute now, that alarm clock would go off..and it would be time for Ken to go back out into the world, continue to train Sean, and...handle his personal difficulties...
Ken had sat up, groaning from the lack of rest. The empty mansion made it no better..no Eliza..no Mel..it haunted him.
-
Eliza...how could she? I thought..everything was running well..but I guess I was wrong. I always wondered why she never complained about me wanting to go out and train myself more...,and why she always kept picking arguements with me when I made small mistakes..., but those questions have been answered in the harshest way...*
Ken sat at the side of his bed, near his nightstand, looking to his alarm clock, and his glass of water near it. The Red digits said ‘3:58’. Next to the clock would be a picture of himself, Eliza, and their son Mel. Ken picked it up, looking to it, hearing the words echo through his mind…
*** ‘–DIVORCE!–’ * ** Eliza’s voice rang through his mind…turns out she’d been with someone else while he was out training…and Mel was always with the nanny…
A divorce...a divorce...one thing people think wouldn't bother me..but it does. Every since that day, everythings been going wrong. I lost to Sean..., that's enough for you to know just how badly this has taken my focus out. I lost the united states championship, my father passed away..., and I can't seem to shake this depressing mood..
‘3:59’
"Ugh..." Ken turned the alarm off a minute early, getting to his feet on his carpet flooring."What goes up..sometimes comes down, big guy.."Ken said to himself stretching his arms. "..Gotta focus.."
-
Gotta focus...yeah...in fact...maybe if I can track down Ryu, a little spar'll lift my spirits...but that's harder than finding a needle in a mountain of hay..*sigh* Well..it's worth a try....*
End to the intro…kinda sleepy. Lol. Just tell me what you think so far.
