What file type is rmvb? Real Media? I downloaded a few videos that I want to burn to DVD but my ISO program wont deal with Real Media… Is there a program that converts it to AVI or mpeg?
Yes it’s real media. Real Alternative plays them for sure. VLC might. If VLC plays them, then it can also transcode them…altho it is a manual process and you need to know a bit about compression methods and rates (particularly your ideal output file type). I’m sure there’s some auto conversion tools out there…don’t know any right off the top of my head, but a simple search might yield something useful (“rmvb to avi” or “rmvb to avi converter”).
K-Lite has the Media Player Classic which also works like Real Alternative I belive. In addition it updates most of ur media players’ codec files.
Anyone capable of hunting a converter down? My search engines don’t work…
And why do I need to register just to download real player? Hella gay…
The official real player is lame, imho…requires registration, is pretty much adware, and doesn’t do anything that other free players do. i’ll see what I can find.
Thanks dude, apreciated…
