Tell me one reasonable online game which you can play decently on a shitty connection? Go buy powerlan if you don’t have direct access to a router, it’s almost as good as cable. WLan is ass.

what do i truly hate about ssf4AE2012? hmm, so much to hate but number one complaint is blockstun. it’s ass and if you don’t know why you need to play another fighting game at least once. after that it’s invincible backdashes. they ruin ground based pressure after a knockdown and force you to do silly OS that lead to more autopilot bullshit. third would be the ability to FADC on block in reversal situations. no more baiting that out like in previous games unless it’s oni. that’s actually how it should work. if you have an invincible dp or whatever, it shouldn’t be FADCable if blocked! hmm what else… oh yeah the shitty character models but i can live with that if the game is fun.
i can live with the stupid shortcuts, the shit art, slow walk/dash speeds, and the ridiculously long reversal window if the first three things i mentioned were fixed because you could still bait shit and have more mind games but yeah, congrats to capcom/dimps on finding a way to make sf2 style play boring.

i know some people will be salty because sf4 is their favorite fighter so i should state it’s not all bad. even with the things mentioned above the game has a lot of fun things about it. i like how some of the combos look and doing fadc’s are fun to do. some of the backgrounds are really amazing. my favorites are the chinese street market, street in india, and the jungle during the day. i also like how they made it user friendly without totally sacrificing challenging execution. there’s easy stuff to do that looks cool and there’s hard stuff to do that does a tiny bit more damage and looks good.

I don’t hate SF4 it’s a solid game I just think Capcom should have stopped at Super.
Reason why SF4 is a bad game. Capcom missed 4 opportunities to add characters with high demand. Characters like Karin, Elena, Alex, Urien, etc. Instead we get twins that no one asked for in the first place and 2 more shotos that we could’ve done without. We have enough shotos as it is…

Of course I don’t think that’s a legitimate reason. There are reasons why this game is bad and other people already covered it. I like SF4 but I just prefer the older SF games more. Not sure how I feel about SFxT tho…

Lower-than-normal blockstun, large reversal window, ultras reward you for getting slapped in the face with a free super, invincible backdashes.
I get that you can bait and punish ultras, but it’s still one more option that they have, just for getting hit. Teaches bad habits . . .

and i still have trouble with the game registering my inputs.
the inputs are so not lenient in this game.
