I bet that as a side-effect of anti-spambot measures, we’d also see a reduction in some of the dumber posters we get.
And by “we”, I generally don’t mean specifically in GD, but we’re like the assistant to the plumber who works on a backed-up toilet. We get some spillover on our shoes.

I’m sure this has already been mentioned, but what can be done to stop the bots? This is the first time I’ve gone to GD and the entire page, minus a few threads, were spam.
Is there a way to make accounts not be able to post new threads until they’ve posted like 10 times or something?
Ask the admins about that.
I just deleted about 500 bot threads and banned around 30 accounts. If ever you realize I deleted your thread as well or your account, tell me so I can undo it.
Edit: Make that a little over 100 banned accounts this morning.
