When did I ever say that? I simply said that this forum’s general posting culture may be a bit much for newer members that aren’t familiar with it, which is why they generally tend to stay in the subforums for the game(s) of their choice.
And while you’re whining and bleating about how GD barely gets any activity, maybe you should pull your head out of your ass and realize that you, and others like you are the reason that people would rather post in OTT or any other thread of their choice, while GD continues to cry and pout and dry up.
But you can keep being the “cool kid” and make sarcastic, silly remarks.

Yeah there’s no elitism to be found in any other subforum on the site. Nonnnnne. And not only that, most people on this site don’t know how to deal with idle arrogance. Uh-huh. The problem is, the Report bail-out button isn’t as effective at GD as they are in the more ‘visible’ parts of the site. The bigger problem is there’s a growing population of members who have little tolerance for anybody who isn’t exactly like them. They don’t want to talk their differences out, they don’t want to empathize or sympathize, they just want to mash Report, or try to get Ignore to work, and wish the bad guy away. Look there are plenty of obvious trolls on SRK who are only interested in disrupting conversation and flat-out idiots who give out death threats. They deserve to get dealt with obviously. I’m talking about just a general lack of tolerance for the average member, just because of what they said, what they like, what their profile says etc.** It’s not just GD** even those this board is guilty of the 09er stuff.
Because antagonism is building against different parts of the site. Some of that is the fault of some GD regulars, as well as regulars on other parts of the site. Either way, we aren’t living in harmony. Also, SRK is supposed to be a community site, not the Middle East. Nobody can force everybody to like each other, but there’s gotta be more respect for the overall “community” that SRK represents. That’s the bigger issue than people choosing to post in OTTs, but the OTTs are also a big reason why there’s this mounting hate for ‘those guys over there’ all across the site.
I personally don’t hate anyone on this site, especially a bunch of kids that like to spend their time spamming bs images on the web or whatever. Kids will be kids. What I am saying is that we should maybe let the site work the way it has been working for a little over TEN years and not go changing all this shit up and making different “factions” or divisions. We already have enough of that irl with East vs West and Merica Vs GLORIOUS NIPPON or MEXICO.
Whoever thought it was good ideal to let these kids get away with what basically amounts to a bunch of spam in a sub forum was doing them a real disservice by not telling them straight in the first place and shooing them over here. Somehow they were persuade one way or another(tits? Bribes? TitBribes?) into turning a blind eye at something our guys have been getting bitched out for YEARS. I mean seriously, how many times were we told that GD need to be closed and that the lounge thread was MAGICALLY using too much fucking bandwidth? Seriously?
I know people on both sides are afraid of taking the effort to integrate us but I for one will gladly help shape these fuckers up into real posters of merit just like we have been doing since 2000. Shit was like fight club man, you came in here made out of bubble gum and a few weeks later your ass would be carved out of wood. I say the least they can do is give it a shot for a week and if it gets too be a hassle for the mods then put it back the way it was. Send them here and start enforcing the rules on posting pics and single word replies and all that shit. Hell isn’t there a script you can use to keep it so people can’t just post one or two words. This shit can basically run itself. I bet if you do that you will see more productivity out of the community as a whole and a LOT less bitching about useless shit.

I’m not really concerned that they don’t post in GD. That’ll just give the good mods of this site work that the terrible mods don’t want to do. We already have one person like that, and he’s plagued with mental vitiligo so we excuse it due to disability.

What’s really funny about GD is that there is less elitism in the board than say FGD. The big difference is that GD has a significantly smaller tolerance for shitty posts. So people think that you’ll get eaten alive at GD at random are tripping balls retarded. On the other hand if you wish to come to GD to say some really dumb shit then well don’t act like you didn’t know what was going to happen. Great thing about GD is that nobody is really exempt from this: bad posts get called out whether they are made by new people or old.
