What do you think of my team

ok

Well, ken from japan is really good with Yun.

I said you won’t win a tournament in the US I know that the Japanese have really good mid tier characters. Actually you are pretty scrubby if you pick mid-tiers just for the sake of doing it. I’m sorry, but good SF player play to win not “for fun”, for them, playing for fun IS playing to win.

so whats playing to win?

what about throwing in chun li?

Playing for fun, is using mid-tiers just to use them, and not because you own with them. Playing to win is doing what ever it takes to win, and being the most effective player you can be.

guess your right, but still, you shoudnt judge ppl like that, give your opinion, dont give a law.

I play Chang too, and in A, but i haven’t played CVS2 in ahwhile /=, so no chang practice.

ok epsilon, you have conviced me, ryo sucks, your absolutly right, hes a grade a fag, i dont know what to do with this guy, al he can do is fire bal, his dp is the worst in the lot, hid d,f+K just sucks … i need sum advice, now i have chun eagle and i need a new char in my team, im thinking sak, scince her best is A-g [or so ive heard]

help!?

Oh please. Don’t be another CBS SBM.B guy. Learn Ryo. If Iyo can use Dhalsim/Maki/RolentoR2 , a low HP team, low power team, and beat CBS, then you can win with Ryo. As for a new character, for A, i hear akuma is a beast there, Geese is my favorite A-Groove Character. Learn EVERYTHING about Ryo and how to use him in certain matchups. o yeah, Kyo is good too, i suggest him for S/K and he’s useable in A, maybe as battery but i never use A-Kyo.

Edit:
I’ve played a lot of REALLY good S-Groovers, supposedly the worst groove ever.

Did those guys start out using a high powered team and only switched when they had the skills? Or did they use those teams when they still sucked?

Hahah, so I’m NOT the only one that’s serious about him! Cool… I got a feeling that if more people saw what Chang’s capable of, he’d be played to death like SBBSC. He’s underestimated way too much. But no worry, because if anything, his underplayed status is a good starting advantage. Not everyone knows how to deal with him, and if S-Groove’s popularity could slowly increase, then the same could definitely happen for Chang. Besides, I think Choi’s worth complaining about more than c.fierce anyway…, it’s too damn funny to hear, “Why can’t that little punk just die!!!”

If you’re out of practice, we can discuss him in Character Specific. You might see me a Tilt in the meantime.

I think A Blanka would be a good choice. He takes some getting used to though but definately worth it, as he is one of the most dominating characters in the game, and once he has meter he can land a custom in like 5957382938 different ways.

I don’t really use Chang in Tilt because I have trouble against S groovers when using chang. Nice to see that someone knows how powerful this fat ass is.

Y TOOO RAH SOO!!! Run HMMMMMMMMMMMM!

Yeah, Chang is A/S/K

I have some interesting reading materials for everyone in this thread. Everyone in this thread should read ALL FOUR of them. And if you have, good. Read them again. Some of you may have forgotten them.

They tackle all the angles of playing to win. They tackle where and when it’s most appropriate. They also tackle how, and why.

Don’t subscribe fully to the concept of playing to win, or playing for fun. Subscribing fully to either one will sabotage your game. And it really doesen’t matter what game you play. I know from experience.

wow…
you know what, were all wrong, playing to winm playing for fun, its so much more than that, its playing to learn, learn and get better at it. its not about the top tiers, the midtiers, the what ever its about the game, what can you do, how much you know and so much more, we were so wrong, tiers are bogus, i dont care, neither should anybody, infacte every one should read tehre. its not about cheap, or honor or “what the fuck” …

every one read there things, revelation awaits…
thx deathfist

as for me, its back to the drawing board.

screw sakura

ryo stays, with eagle and chun

i have much to improve uppon, and i know it, i dont need to be called a scrub, i know i am, i just know i can get better…

That’s respectable, and I understand that. I said Ryo sucks and for you to use Blanka or Sak because I want YOU to win. Not just ridicule you.

Interresting way to see it. But understandable i supposs[sp]

Keep the people you like to use. but at the same time, learn every character, and learn every matchup. I guarantee you if u use a team that no one’s ever seen , and you know how to deal with all characters, specificly the top-tier then you will see yourself winning a lot. I’ve seen a guy who uses Vice/Chang, and he’s beasting people “better” than him, there is a Ryo player who beasts me every time i play against him, it’s definately possible to win with those characters.
