What do the dp ls rs switch do on the fight stick?

DP= D-pad
RS= Right stick
LS= Left stick

and for fighters you wanna want to keep it on DP all the time.

In other words, it means the stick can control all three directional inputs on a pad. DP means the stick controls the d-pad, LS makes it control the left analog stick, RS makes it control the right. Never found a need for RS, but it’s good it’s there just in case.

when i read DP i thought…
