I was playing a match against a guy using Akuma/Ken. He ran away the whole game and mashed DP whenever I got in through his fireball spam. He was also using autoblock. I beat him in two rounds - the second nearly went to time because I had a lifelead and he was just backing up so I sat back and waited. When he predictably jumped in I threw a shootdown backbreaker. Then I backed up. He jumped again. BACK BREAK-AH! And thenā¦again. KO.
He messaged me:
āNice lame Hugo. Learn how to play the right way.ā
He mashed fireballs, DP, and jumping HK with autoblock shotos. Heās right. What the hell was I thinking.
Whee. Just got my first win against an A+ player (Iām at B and heading down). He sent me a message after saying āgood shitā. Iāve gotten more nice messages than mean ones, despite using Hugo. 
Back when I first got my A rank, I joined a ranked match. I was in a party and then got kicked out so I still had my mic on, so did the other guy. I ran my normal team (Nina/Akuma aka. the Hwilliams) he ran Guile/Bear. I was like ok, thisāll be easy.
Guy is using the 1/8th autoblock gem on both characters. I win round one lose the second two by a hair. He is literally talking so much shit.

There is a guy named NoobTron. Heās like A+ by now. Either way, he beats me once with Guile/Chun. Iām talking with his friend about how Guile is really hard to fight against without a good way around fireballs. He calls me a stream monster and tells me I need to learn how to play and that if I canāt open Guile up, then Iām a scrub.
Fast forward two matches, Iām busting his ass with my team and heās talking all kinds of shit.
Proceeds to call me the N-word like 50 times and leaves the room. Iāll upload those matches one day. Shit was funny.

But yah, thatās why I try to remember to never have my mic on once I leave a party. Some of these folks manā¦ no way I even want to hear them talk. >____>

is it me or is there some sort of correlation between high rank vega players and people who like to taunt/teabag CONSTANTLY. Iām pretty sure itās me, but damn, itās like they actually inherit his ego.
Also, shoutout to Her0 of Tim3 for lending some constructive feedback after bumping into each other in an endless lobby. Seems like unless Iām on Jibboās stream, most other high rank players enjoy dicking around with me.

Just to round out the racist messages, I lost last night to a somewhat laggy Juri + Heihachi. He had his combos down but had zero strategy. He also started out most rounds with a taunt. Heād just keep jumping in until he got his combos going. If I AAād or blocked he just jab or wait a sec and jump again. He beat me in the third round with Heihachi vs Hugo doing cross-up jab jab, cross-up, cross-up jab, cross-up jab jab, etc. I felt stupid, but whatever. So after he wins with that crap, he messages me:
