I wonder if it’s possible to send hatemail in Steam? If it’s not possible the PC gaming community will have an era of peace once GFWL bites it.

Hatemail will always exist as long as messaging is allowed. Tbh, it is on the networks to have better ways to discourage it or punish it in a fair manner.
Yesterday I beat someone with 5 or more grabs in a match in an Endless. I grabbed a lot because the match before showed that his Steve does counters a whole lot of times. After a small exchange including me saying that I’m scared of Steve’s counters he told me that he’s kicking me out if I grab him again and “play the game”. I “played the game” and beat him without throwing him once, but I lost my interest in playing against him and left the room. It’s such a shame, because he was good.

It feels like an age since have posted in this thread! But alas, I have returned, bearing messages from a French person named IX-KOREY-XI. Nothing too notable about him, other than that he has sent me hatemail before, plays Chun-Li like it’s 2012 and for having a frankly sup-par connection.
As one would expect, I was in Ranked when I happened across him/her/it (who shall henceforth be referred to as a male for convenience). I remembered him for sending me fully capitalised messages full of loathing for me before. “Oh,” I thought. “This should be interesting.”
We enter character select. I decided to bring out my faithful forest friends, Julia and Elena. It was my first day with Elena online, so I didn’t really expect her to do so well. Either Elena has secretly been feeding information on what to do with her into my head, or the other guy wasn’t playing too well, but we fairly easily took the match. It would probably have lasted longer had he not kept doing Hazanshu, which as we all (should) know, is launchable.
I receive message number one. This message was asking me if I was serious. Did he know that it was Elena’s first day out to play?
I reply, emulating Elena. “Feel the rhythm of the earth, and the whisper of the wind!” I receive no reply. Elena is saddened, and I share her pain.
We play again, twice, a few minutes later. I decide to use team Milk Chocolate (credit to Xykes). I believe he swapped his second character, who I honestly cannot remember to Blanka. I don’t like Blanka. I play keepaway, because I don’t want Blanka slobbering all over ‘mah gurlz’. In the second, Blanka is swapped out for Dhlasim, and Yoga Sniper amusingly whiffs on crouching Elena a few times. I win both, and receive two new messages. Message one states “run” and the second message in a smidge more loquacious, telling me to enjoy my ‘stupid’ victory.
Later again, I happen upon him, again, and I swap out Christie for Poison, and he swaps out Blanka for Ryu. I lose the match and receive a new message, this one saying that he knows how to run away too. I’m not sure why he viewed sitting on a life lead as running away, but whatever floats his boat. I answer in Elena style once again, this time saying “Being angry isn’t fun. You should smile - like me!”. I receive a prompt reply telling me to fear his team, and calling me an old noob. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I’m eighteen.
We play again, one last time a while later. This time I decide to bench Elena, and Poison, and bring out Julia and Lili instead. He sticks with Chun and Ryu. I win, and receive yet ANOTHER message, saying “waiting attack uh” and "“OLD NOOB”. This time, I decide to go FengShui style, and answer like Juri. "Gosh, you sure are obsessed with me. Perhaps you’ve got a little… schoolgirl crush!"
I don’t get a reply.
Thus concludes my tale of that French Chun Li with a loathing for keepaway. Would anyone care to enlighten me as to what “waiting attack uh” means?

Sounds like PSN is a great place for some salt. Perhaps I should finally hit PSN ranked with team Playstation All-Stars (Toro/Heihachi) and see what kind of salt I can generate…still have yet to get any hate-mail on the PC version, not even from Aliktea.

Welp, I played him pretty often before, usually using Nina/Kaz, had often good games.
But after that session he started to call me a tier whore etc. and thought it was a good idea to hate a bit.
Like I said, it was laggy as hell and he kept jumping and doing online full screen stuff that annoyed me so I #YOLO Geyser’d. Very Often.
Not the nicest thing to do but the games were horrible anyway. Maybe just a bad day?

I seriously started leveling up after getting bullied by Cerialbox and Jalass. It may be frustrating at times, but you will learn to be more careful or for others more aggressive. It’s a pity that EU only has a handful of really good players.
why wouldnt he hate Nina? I hate Nina as well. She’s a stupid good character. Great damage on her own, two great anti airs. Awesome pressure using her tekken strings, good normals, ridiculously ambiguous cross up. I’ve yet to post this message where this guy says How Wrong isn’t a good character xD
