For some people it’s fun to sit in a corner and chuck Plasma for 99 seconds.
For others it’s fun to hug you a lot with a big buff character like Zangief.
Other find it fun to play midrange footsies with the power of spacing and buttons (yeah thats me).
To say SF3 is about fun and 5 isn’t, is just your opinion and not a proven fact.
I like it to play Ralf in 98 and press st.D over and over again, thats fun for me.
they don’t have fun while doing that (turtling, spamming the same move again and again etc), they just care about winning and feeling better about themselves. They’re losers, so they need something in which the can win.
many pro players don’t have fun while playing SF V, they play for the money.
OCD is fun for people with OCD. Winning is also fun. “Spamming” one move is a noobs way of looking at it. That one move can be used in multiple applications, with multiple timings for multiple reasons, from multiple spacings.
Perhaps not fun for you, but you aren’t them and vice versa.
Some people like legos and mine craft, I find both exceedingly boring.
To each their own. One thing to be said about “spammy” game sthough is they are more about your timing and spacing rather than mixing up your actual moves, and that makes them much more precise than games that stress simply using bigger and bigger movelists.
In the BornFree interviews Phenom, Bonchan, and may others say they are only playing the game for money. Phenom said if anyone claims the identify with SF5 they’re lying. Bonchan said “anything is better than SF5, really, anything”. Bonchan went on a semi profane rant in Japanese afterwords. Many pro’s say the game sucks in recent interviews and are in it solely for the money. There are no mind reading skills necessary when they go on te record saying the game isn’t good.
We were talking about chucking plasma in fighter, not SFV in any regards.
I mean, you’re known for your blind hating on 4 websites by now, but pls do me a favour and don’t use my comments out of context.
I will not link to the essays he writes on the steamforums.
It’s basicly a giant pile of hate he copy & pastes into every thread since the Betas are out.
The best part was still: SFV has no content it’s shit.
Yesterday in the Tekken 7 thread: As long as T7 has Training Mode it’s absolutly fine!
Seperate people with valid points from blind haters pls. It’s not worth to support them.
This whole post is a lie.
You’re one hella dumb motherfucker that picks out things out of context and puts his scrubby spin on it.
Bonchan says he likes the game, but is disappointed in the direction the game is going.
Phenom said that he plays for the money and thinks pros that say that they have a deep affinity for the Street Fighter franchise are full of shit.
He wasn’t even talking about SFV specifically but you make it sound like that.
You and Za Fuuru are really taking turns in saying outrageously retarded shit in this thread.
Go back to EventHubs and the Steam game forums pls.
I don’t think bnb in 3s are simple maybe compared to older games before it. I think the input mechanics are probably just been loosened up the most up until that point.
Like just a simple corner throw combo with remy and a good chunk of the cast it won’t work on unless you Kara it.
The only games that had similar input help in feel was the ex series.
I’m not OG 3s and I was never trying to make myself out to be. But I did play NG in the arcades… so in some ways I’m more OG than the guys that started with 3s.
