I believe Evo will be using the PS3 system for both SF4 and SF2HDRemix… so it’s gonna be the PS3 for me.

Yeah, I can’t see a good reason to use the PS3 over the 360 unless there are other games that will use the PS3 and they want to get systems in bulk for a discount or something. Even T6 will be out for the 360.
Because people have sticks for the PS2 that are easily converted to the PS3.
^yep which kinda sucks because if you have an xbox and only sticks for that your going to buy some ps3 sticks if you want to compete in tournaments.

^^ Yep. And also there’s the RROD issue. Granted RRODs are less of an issue in the newer 360 models, however it’s still an issue. Imagine watching the finals for SF4/SF2 HDRemix and someone is about to win but then the RROD hits. Very unlikely, but still possible and there would be controversy/uproar.
PS3 for me since I got Pelican PS2 to PS3 adapters, a PS2 custom sanwa stick, and PS2 Saturn controllers.

PSN is good enough for online IMO
The community really needs to do something about this. Someone always ends up getting screwed. I am buying a PS3 stick for this purpose, though I prefer the 360. I just need to get it shipped.
IMO the PS3 has more sticks to chose from and if you have a PS3 to PS2 adapters:
you can recycle your old PS2 sticks, so in the end it is more economical going PS3 then going 360 when it comes recycling sticks via adapters.
I found the lack of choices of peripherals on the 360 to be quite disturbing and limiting.
PS3 all day. I only have PS2 and PC Saturn controllers that I’m gonna use, but will cop one of them SFIV sticks whenever they drop.

Fair enough. But it is a whole lot easier for people in that camp to buy a Cthulhu and install it in their favorite stick than people with only ps2 sticks and converters which have been the standard for so long trying to hack a 360 pcb to a stick.
