I need to know who would make a good third character for this team
Just pick and try some out, the roster is full of characters that could flow decent with those two.
Many teams can be thrown together from scratch with seemingly no, “chemistry” and still be made to work well together overtime with a little creativity & willpower.
Silver Samurai for example. Samurai stars+Doom’s rocks make for a pretty cheesy/chip damage combination.
