I’m not so sure if he had the hammer in dmc3, did he? If so…that’s amazing.
No, he didn’t have the hammer in DMC3, and I doubt he’ll have it this game.

So I fail to see how MvC3 doesnt “need” 3 reps. They didnt NEED any at all but at least they’re all well defined characters.
If you’ve never played a DMC game, or played it but mashed square and X the entire time of course you wouldnt know the difference between Vergil and Dante.
Vergil cant even double jump. Vergil doesnt use guns. lol. Again, you would know this if you knew anything about the game before claiming Vergil is a Dante clone because theyre biological twins.
Fantastic 4-Doctor Doom who should be in every marvel vs game and Skrull who uses all their powers. Check.
Street Fighter- Ryu Capcom poster boy, Akuma first VS character ever, Viper SF4 Ad, and Chun who has been in lots of crossovers and reps SF2, but really her inclusion is w/e
Darkstalkers- tbh really only Morrigan should be in…but Im really glad this series has 3 reps cuz I personally like it a lot and all the characters.
Dr.Strange- Yeah I dunno why they chose Dorm over Blackheart but Capcom likes Shuma and hes a classic, and if you think Dr.Strange shouldnt be in this game somethings wrong with you.
X-Men- Fan Favorites. What do you expect? No wolverine? wont happen. No Mag-fuckin-neto, Sent or Storm, Mvc2 favs?? Deadpool whos just plain awesome? X-23 which was made to advertise for a new comic or some shit?
Avengers- All these characters are marvel vs capcom (cept Thor but a lot of ppl like him) and marvel classics as well.
I like DMC and think DMC3 is a fun game with a good story and soundtrack. I think Dante and Vergil are pretty cool and Dante was made an excellent character in this game. I actually said that Id like to have Vergil and Dante over Dante and Trish. I just dont like Trish tbh, and I think that they should have put in a more interesting character for her spot or just had 2 DMC reps and put a diff series rep. But I think she has a good moveset.

All I said was you make no sense by saying 3 DMC reps was too many when there are 4 and 5 rep from other series.
Vergil is going to be sick I think he is going to have teleports like wesker but also a lil faster and his orb slash if he has will be good for runaway and also his beowulf killer bees is stronger then dantes and his maybe a counter attack as he had in DMC3 SE and stinger and his yamoto stinger also and his phantom swords is also great so I think he is going to be a good solid character
