What are your Flaws as an Mvc2 player

they did a post like this in the fighting game section, so i thought why not put one here for us Mvc2 Crack heads.

my flaws are as follow:

  1. I know More than I show.

  2. Not Enough Practice, i feel as if i should be better by now, but that is my fault for not pushing myself harder, sometimes i enjoy theory marvel more than real marvel cause atleast there i win lol.:rofl:

I think i have developed patiance, and im practicing more with alot of people.

I thik that my big flaws are

  1. Just like yours, I know more than I show

  2. My defence SUCKS, my offence and every other aspect of my game (mind wars ) is prett y solid, but my blocking skills are shit.

  3. My reaction time is retarded.

  4. Sometimes I whore too much, ( Silver SAmurai, I try to Raimeken too often, becoming too predictable and jsut wastin gmy meter that Omega and Anak built )

  5. I dont think alot of things through.

  1. I’m too slow to play Mags.

  2. I get lazy and fuck up timing my assists.

  3. I can’t chain some moves and I have problems keeping up or completing some of the more advanced combos.

  4. I rely too much on having my opponent in the corner.

  2. As soon as I get really, really good, I have a tendency of taking a break for a couple of months.

  3. My characters are unbalanced. When I practice with sentinel, he wins evertime and strider gets massacred and vice versa.

  4. I take TOOOOOOO MANY unsafe chances SOOOOO MANY RISKS!!. I attempt things are are too hard and not practicle. (When was the last time you’ve seen Strider Guard cancel HSF and xxorbs through it? haha)

  5. My plans are excellent in a match, but excecuting the plans is my downfall. My gameplay surpassed my execution.

  6. I get too confident if I get Doom snaped in and I play him instead of focusing on my goal to get two meters and bring Strider back in.

  1. I dont use Storm, Sentinel, Magneto, Cable
  2. I dont run away like bitch (cause I dont use Storm)
  3. I dont do that many random supers( again cause I dont use Storm)
  4. My characters dont say “HA!” ( once again…Storm)

1.) I have the disease where when I get a tremendous lead, I find some way to lose the match.

2.) I can’t read repetitive patterns very well.

3.) I still hide behind my assists but not as bad.

  • My assists are always getting fucked up because I overuse them (not so much anymore but I still jump the gun when under pressure)

  • I suck at getting out of simple traps

  • I fold really bad under pressure

  • no patience.

  1. Get to scared to go on the offense sometimes.

  2. Call my assists too much sometimes and end up having them killed.

  3. I completely suck with anyone from top 4, although that might not be a flaw :wonder:

  2. I still don’t know how to deal against certain teams cause I don’t play too often.

  3. I tend to mess up simple combos.

  4. I’m bad at finding openings and taking them.

  5. I leave myself open ALL the time.

  1. i do a lot of fancy

  2. im about 80% offense and 20% defense. basically my defense sucks.

  3. i lose to an intermediate cable+commando user 85-90% of the time. (i suck when playing against this team)

  4. when i’m in a lead, there’s a chance that i tend to take it easy, thereby losing. *sigh

  5. i like resets, when i do ROM, i only do about 2-4 reps.

  6. get nervous and f*ck up on my execution

  7. i sometimes hate playing against a good player, which is why i don’t improve that fast. i like to beat scrubs and people who don’t know how to play the game.

  1. I have no patience, at all

  2. I get trashed by fast high priority AAA like Cyclops and Psylocke

  3. I hate being on defensive, so, my defense sucks also (I’m good to block resets though)

haha funny. though I try not to run away with her…but sometimes you gotta as with all characters.

and yes random spammable assist to random hail, very annoying and is this only way some people sometimes win. and then they think they are good…pfft

Blocking needs to get better

Execution…just realized that my unfly inf. doesn’t always come out because I’m inputting too Quickly, whereas it used to be slow…damn playing with magz…but at least he can do some crazy shit :wink:

and some other general mistakes I sometime make. but iv’e been really improving quickly lately.

oh yeah and I some times get too fancy, especially with mags, when I should just do simple damage instead of rom-ing/resets
