What are the best Intel-compatible branded motherboards?

I don’t need ELITE shit, but good shit. I’m planning on paying around 150-200 on the mobo.

time to do ur homework

magic website that will find you the answer!!!

here :o!

I’d go for an Intel reference board. One that’s been out for at least a year. I have the 955xbk. They’re not as fancy as the ones made by Asus or ABIT, but they are always being updated (firmware) and they are less likely to crap out on you.

hardforum.com will probably get you a better response, intel is a bit broad, you might want to see excatly which intels you want to support, and whether you plan to upgrade to quad-core after the price drops. gl

I recently purchase this board:

Intel BLKD975XBX2KR LGA 775 Intel 975X ATX

haven’t install it yet, just got it yesterday, but from the size of the manual, and various positive reviews, this board looks pretty damn solid.

More brands/types of intel compatable motherboards out there than you can count. Just pick one at a decent price range that can support what you’d like to use it with.

Newegg is a great site to buy from, because you can easily return stuff if it does not work out like you expected.
