Sdouble: Yeah, I have to find something more than that, I make a lot more than $12.50 an hr here, but part-time stuff, who knows. Flea market in Lebanon it looks like for me on some weekends.
360s and Ultimates are different in the ability to feel corners. It’s easier to use 360s in general, but only if you play characters that do not charge. It’s all preference these days. I play 3s on 360s at work, but I don’t own that cabinet…so I’m going back to Ultimates at home…

Guilty Gear is tight. I wish I could’ve went. It would’ve been a good learning experience. I was at a big smash tournament though.
How many GGXX machines does that arcade have? The scene looks pretty small, but that’s ok. Was there never really a GG scene around here? Tennessee isn’t huge, so I wouldn’t be suprised.
we dont have a machine but they set up a tv and a DC(i think) but we always inprovise so come see how ff is just let us kno when you on the way

i have been playing of dif sticks when people come over, trying to adjust to dif styles and button types. i think i will need little time to adjust lol. i know your sticks will be good. those at that arcade we played at were trash. but i still should have been able to offer up a better game than that though. oh well now I am a lot better, but I still need lots of help lol. at least now i know what most of my weaknesses are though.
I can’t wait till we play on a pretty regular basis, i know you will make me so much better. i can’t wait to learn more about 3s, ST and UMK3 if you feel like it.

I’m actually visiting right now. I found the WORST arcade ever. It’s in Smyrna. It’s a pool hall/arcade/bowling alley.
They have a good selection of 80s games, 90% of them turned off or with f’ed up monitors. The ones that ARE on do not work (steal money), and they have one OG SF II machine with the old “silver” base sticks!
I won’t have to do much to have a good arcade out here apparently!

I’ll be in town on or before May 17. Probably going to need a bit of time to unpack, and my arcade cabinets won’t be there til a week later, so more like the end of May til all my shit gets there.
