other than that, it was a real fun tournament! it sucks that scheduling got so eff’d up and I ended up walking out of BB tournament before it started, but I understand the circumstances and kno u guys did your best and I appreciate all your hard work. I will definitely look forward to another warzone!!

Well my neck muscles still hurt from grimacing so hard at the last 3 games of SF4 finals, but congratulations to Marn for taking it. Good job Alex, almost had it.
It was great seeing you guys again, it’s been too long. I’m really getting back into the scene now (promise), so I’ll see you all again soon. Sorry I couldn’t spend more time hanging out this weekend, had other stuff going on at the same time. The highlight of the tournament for me was finding out I’d somehow gotten a seed, laughing at the guy who told me, and then going 3-2… because of 2 byes. This was my first fighting game tournament in over 10 years and it was every bit as awesome as I’d have hoped. It certainly wont be my last! Big thanks to John Rog, Kai, Tecks and everyone else involved with it.

Good stuff to the HDR crew for even hanging around as long as we did to FINALLY play out the tourney. I know some left, but most stayed. I’m sure next year the staff will do a better job about the delays. HDR was the most time efficient tourney (took roughly 1.5 hours). Next year, there should be 2 separate HDR tournies…1 single & another 2-man team tourney (it should be 2 of 3 though, not single game). As always, it was great chatting w/the Old Krew (Valle, Afro, Zaspacer, Kurropi, Cesar, Antonio-my bro will send you a link for you know what, Leonowski, AquaSnake, SweetJV, Megaman, Voltech, and any others I missed.

Absolutely! My friends in Team Abortion came in third and even though it took much longer than anticipated, they had a great time and will be back next year (as will I).
I’m certain next year will go smoother and seeing as this was the first one, I understand why they left registration open at the table. I mean, you just don’t want to turn people away on your first time out even though I know no one was expecting that many late signups! Next year will be even better.
