This lack of professionalism is quite dissapointing. I keep hearing how Street Fighter is going to take off and be on TV and shit. Well if it does first thing is it actually has to start on time. Seems like every tournament starts late which can fuck things up for a lot of people.

Well it looks like it’s finally starting almost 2 and a half hours late. Having previously been hyped to watch this to end my night (timezones) I now will likely only see a few matches before having to turn in. Hope it’s worth the wait but if shit like this keeps happening this scene is going to struggle to grow much.

mvc2 update
well, mvc2 took place extra late on 9-5-09…
it was supposed to start at 7pm, but really started at around 10-11 ish…
It took us until about 3am to find out top 8 for the finals on 9-6-09
Top 8 from what I recalled was:

Jal
Combofiend
Mike Chaos
i forgot the other 2 i think nezzy and cj
I think I got 9th, mvc2 roundhouse and combofiend had the last match at like 2:30am for the 8th spot in top 8
NorCal heads had technical issues with them all sharing a broken stick that kept not registering (pausing the game) and them using other people sticks that they werent comfortable with
Their fault for not bringing their own sticks instead of sharing a broken one. =/
