Seems like a silly question, but just wanna be sure.
You mind if I invite a couple “non-sf-affiliated” ladies to the pool party? I’m sure you guys would gladly be willing to teach em about the wonders of street fighter 
Most of my girlfriends that I’m bringing out are not SF related so no worries about that. Friday is definitely a chill and get into the SoCal spirits day.
I definitely like the goal & aim of this tourney. My only question is…what would it take to make HDR a regular tourney as opposed to a side tourney? Given that HDR had the 2nd highest turnout out Evo I would have figured it would have been a shoe-in for a tourney spot…
Honestly, it’s just that I am trying to keep things manageable for myself for the first time around. I am trying to get a gauge of everything.
I thought a lot about the games that I was going to run and HD-R was definitely one of the games that was teetering on the edge. Though it had a huge turnout at EVO, SoCal tournaments haven’t had huge turn outs for the game, and I don’t know how many people plan to travel to only play HDR.
I understand that there are people passionate about HDR, and I certainly don’t want to let off like I don’t care. However, I have to run what I think I can manage. I have full faith that SweetJohnnyV and Shoo are going to run a sick 2v2 HDR tournament that will be enjoyable for all without my grandma nagging. =)

Yup. Anyone can make it out to the pool party. Swing by, grab some drinks, and just let it ride.
The hotel knows we’re throwing a pool party, but any hotel guests can still come into the pool. I don’t know if they’ll be able to handle the hype though. =)
Hey Teppelin any chance of a side tourny for King of Fighters 12? If not I wouldn’t mind helping by running a side tourny for it if you don’t mind?
I’m gonna be having a big meeting tomorrow with my tournament circle. We’re going to be discussing a lot, so I will provide more details regarding side tournaments soon.
The pool party is going to be a blast.
I am going to be the idiot challenging everyone to RPS money matches. And recording them.
I.ve practiced a total of 2 hours a day just for this tournament. Thats how serious I am about it.

I brought that up earlier in the thread and I have a lot of people interested in KOF XII being added to the official line up (even Dark Geese from TX wants to come), however we will pass on a side tournament.
We are really looking forward to John’s decision later this week.
