If people don’t mind me asking, why is 3s number so low? I thought there are quite a number of 3s fans in socal like pherai, pryde, etc.
Is it because it is not running on arcade cab?

Hey, I know a lot of people that want to play MK will book a room now, so could you extend the offer to get double bands for Afterhours? At least for players who enter MK.

And no I don’t have a wired xbox controller.

For me the money to register was money I can’t really afford to spend on a single tournament atm. In any case I’ll still be here to hang out, and play casuals in 3s if anyone wants to, and hopefully see JS Master deliver some beat downs haha

Hi everyone,
As UMK3 and MKvsDCU were added late, I’m running a week long special to add these games at the first registration price of $20. This means from now until the end of Sunday (12/19/10), the venue fee has been reduced to $20 for all entrants.
Make sure you also book your hotel rooms and get double entries into Afterhours where we will be providing entertainment until the wee hours of the morning!
The sign ups so far have been more than Kai and I have anticipated and we have even bigger news coming in January so don’t wait and sign up today!

Let’s get serious Ryan, maybe if 3s tournaments would have more than 15 players, and people actually decided to bring more than 2 sticks, we’d have kept 3s in the lineup. Even with me running the tournament, I’m afraid 3s has met it’s end of life at majors. What your comment should really be is “Wow more people play Mortal Kombat then 3s.” I ask that you let the game be remembered for it’s glory in it’s golden ages, not for the 15 man tournaments and as a $2 side tournament that you see nowadays. Maybe after 3s online, people will have renewed faith, but not this time around.
That being said, attached is the front of the flyer for this year. A little late, but this will probably be the layout for the Warzone’s to come (assuming that this isn’t the last one) with slight modifications here and there.
Again just a reminder everybody, I will kick your ass out of Afterhours if you don’t have a wristband. So basically, if you guys don’t book a room, you’re not getting into Afterhours. THERE IS NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE. While John is the nicest guy around, we all know that I myself have no problem kicking you out. We’re discussing the options of you guys purchasing wristbands, but believe me, it’ll be for some ridiculous price, because our goal here is to sell rooms, which ultimately allows us to throw this event.
