I was under the impression that Strider was top tier with Doom assist. Marvel heads, please enlighten me.
Its true. Strider is ass without Doom. Give him Commando or TBonne and he does okay.
hes still crazy good without doom, maybe a little less of a threat to top tier but to the rest of the low tier characters strider is to good. the orbs themselves are what make him top tier.

Strider by himself (aka “angry Strider”) is pretty good but there are a lot of characters in here that are pretty good that aren’t even restricted like Rogue, Dhalsim, Ruby, Omega Red, Anak/Sonson pairing etc.
As near as I can tell, the point of this tournament isn’t to ban EVERYTHING that’s good. Angry Strider has plenty of counter characters in the low tier set. It’s pretty hard for him to get started since you can’t pick him on a team with any of his favorite assists (Storm/Doom/Sentinel/Spiral/Tron banned, Commando also restricted).
The way the restricted list is set up, I like keeping Strider, but I’m just 1 guy.

maibe set up a pole on here or something. but i have always considered strider top tier, and the point to low tier tournaments at least the ones ive been in are to explore characters which arent normally used in regular tournaments, and strider is in pretty much every tournament.

We have no plans to let people into Afterhours without booking rooms. Those who have followed us for the last three years know that the only way I can afford running this event is by selling rooms. Warzone is still a soul powered event and if you can swing it, please book a room~
